“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“Looked up this place (to find somewhere near another place we were going). This popped up and looked good so we tried. It did NOT disappoint. Food was fantastic, huge portions and came out quickly. Their coffee is nice and strong (my preference), and the staff was attentive and friendly.

“My mom,me and my husband come here often. It's always fantastic. The waitresses r so sweet. We just love,Jamie,Lori,Michelle,kyston,Tina,Angela,. And the hostess r sweet too. We love Sam,but don't know the other ones names sorry. Food is usually on point. We love the soups too. We always get treated well. That's why we keep coming back. Wish they would be open for dinner. We would definitely come back for that being there is no sit down family restaurants in the hts that is open past 2:30 or 3. That's not a bar?“

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“

“I ordered a steak Omelette eggs over easy when I say it was one of the best things that I ever tasted. I’m not lying to you. It was cooked to perfection and had great seasoning. The presentation looked delicious Whoever the cook is or chef he or she is a keeper and can cook his or her A_ _ off. “It's was my first time visiting Mr Stacks, I was very impressed with the services the food was delicious. I loved that the bathroom was clean and fresh that's what I look for as well. “Enjoyed breakfast as a family of 3 adults. Clean restaurant, friendly staff and a large menu to choose from. I enjoyed FRESH strawberry waffle (fresh fruit in December!!) My husband had FRESH blueberry pancakes and my son had biscuits and gravy! Decent pricing, easy access from interstate ( just a short drive down Indpls blvd). We'll be back when in the area.“

“The pros definitely outweigh the cons (which aren't actually cons at all) when dining at The Wheel Family Restaurant, which is open 24 hours a day.

Basically a 4 course meal for most of its menu options, the generous portions will leave the majority of us full, satisfied, and in need of a to-go box.

The atmosphere is typical of a diner style and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. Can't speak for all, but MY server was so great that I tipped her about 50%.

If I absolutely HAD to include a con, it would have to be my desire for my entree to have been more seasoned. But I guess that's what the salt and pepper shakers are there for, right?“
