“Birthday boy wanted sushi so we began locating sushi restaurants near where we were staying. We landed on Starfish due to its good ratings. They have a nice patio outside, but we opted to sit inside. Debbie quickly introduced herself and took our drink order. Debbie was very personable; we shared laughs with her. She was very knowledgeable when I mentioned I was gluten free and brought out the gf soy sauce. Our appetizers came out quickly. I have an obsession with spring rolls, and these were the best I've ever had. Really. Granted, they were a bit different from the usual, but everyone who had a slice agreed they were delicious. My daughter only likes the shaggy dog roll (which is what we call it in Houston). Debbie had the manager come over to see if they could make one. They had a very similar roll which my daughter ordered and enjoyed. I appreciated how they were more than willing to accommodate our requests. Our food came out pretty quick, and we all enjoyed our dinner. When we arrived, Debbie had asked if we were celebrating anything which we were, my son's 18th birthday. She brought out balloon swords which prompted us to have swords fights. It was quite funny! They then brought out ice cream with a candle and sang loudly to him. So glad he got to blow out a candle on his birthday! I cannot recommend this place enough. From the food to the atmosphere to the staff, you will surely have a great time!”

Service was amazing, it was 11 of us, and kind hostess Sandra could figure it out very quickly even if we had no reservation. Our group enjoyed food even if it took a bit longer than we expected. “Our family spent the weekend at the Lincolnshire Marriott to celebrate our parent's 65th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed and felt like royalty. My parents had phoned the Marriott prior to our stay and spoke with Brad, a manager. We were over-the-top surprised with the friendly greeting upon arrival, staff congratulating our parents, rooms close together and accessible for my parents from the lobby, pool and restaurant areas. The weekend was perfect. The hotel is busy, had several weddings in progress, but all patrons were taken care of as if they weren't busy. The front desk staff is so patient and friendly. The servers and cooks at the Three Embers (ate there for breakfast only) were top-notch. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area in the evening with fire tables and patio lighting. Brad, the manager, was accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. It was the perfect choice for our little family celebration. Thanks to all at the Marriott Lincolnshire.”
