“First time here and love it! I used to live in Arlington Heights and was driving by for an appointment. There used to be a Starbucks. I got the gingerbread latte and the papa Nicholas sandwich. Yum 😋 Such a great cause for the community as well. 😃“

“Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe was an outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was top-notch. My dad, who was visiting from London, was impressed with the variety and quality of the food, particularly the vegetarian options which were extensive and perfect for our halal diet. The highlight of the meal was the pancake with banana pudding and cream, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, we highly recommend Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch spot. The wide range of menu items and the attention to detail in both the food and service make this a must-visit restaurant. We will definitely be returning in the future.“

“I recently visited a charming Nelikona coffee place in downtown Palatine. The rose 🌹 coffee was delicious. I loved that it was served in gorgeous tea cups, adding a unique touch to the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for gatherings or meetings. The staff were incredibly friendly, which enhanced the welcoming vibe. “Anam Cara Cafe was the perfect location for our family reunion on Black Friday! We were able to reserve a private room, so the little ones had free range to run around and not bother other patrons and the adults could comfortably hear each other and catch up. The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, from setting up the reservation to not rushing us out at the end of our gathering. They gave us great and attentive service without hovering and interrupting our conversations. Food was excellent and served promptly. Would definitely recommend! We're already talking about meeting there again when the Wisconsin and Chicago sides of the family meet up the next time.“

“If you’re looking for a local spot that truly goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend Glenview Grind enough. We’ve used them for teacher gift cards every year, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions—such an easy and appreciated gift. This year, we also had them cater breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. The entire process—from ordering to pickup—was seamless. Their team was incredibly organized, friendly, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. They even assisted with loading everything up, which made a huge difference during a busy morning. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and the customer service truly stood out. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. “I stopped by today while my car was being serviced nearby, and I’m so glad I did! 🚗✨ I ended up trying the chicken salad sandwich, and honestly, it was the best one I’ve ever had 😍🥪 The flavor was amazing, perfectly balanced, and super fresh. It really exceeded my expectations in every way! The whole experience was great, and it made the wait for my car so much better 😊 I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area again! 👍“

“What can I say: the bakery, food, and drink offerings here are outstanding and the owner is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what she's doing.
You really can't go wrong with any of the grab and go cake, cupcake, or pastry items. We've gotten many of them, and we've also gotten special order cakes from here that have been wonderful. Their breakfast burritos (vegetarian or not) are a great quick breakfast option. The quiches (which are relatively new) are exceptional. The hibiscus agua fresca is a lovely refreshing drink for a hot day.
I hope this place stays here for a long time because its popularity has added liveliness to the Roger Williams area.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. All fresh ingredients make for an amazing taste sensation. The gallery offers unique types of merchandise (many are perfect for gift-giving). It is a small place, and not easily spotted from the street. It is located just one block West of the intersection of Plum Grove Road & Euclid Avenue, ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF EUCLID AVE & BROCKWAY STREET IN PALATINE. The owners/staff are very friendly,, accommodating, and provide excellent service. I can't say enough good things about this place, and want to give it a big shout-out because it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. You must check it out!!..... not only because it's a great little place, but because we should all do our part in supporting our local small restaurants & businesses. *I suggest trying the macarons for dessert“

“Another beautiful night on the patio. We ate at 7:00pm as the sun was going down and the temp was about 66*.... The patio is spacious, and far enough from the road to allow for conversations and night sounds. Food is always great. Had friends in from outta town and they loved it. Service was great. Great food, great service from server Joey!“
