“I brought my mom here for lunch and everything was wonderful! We both have food allergies and they were very attentive and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. In addition to that, everything was delicious! We both got burgers, hers had bacon and mine was without bacon and both were amazing! The fries were also really good, crispy and well salted. I can't say enough good things about my visit. We'll definitely come back!“

“Service, ambiance, atmosphere and wine is what you will find at this location. There are some foo foo small bite foods available as well but I did not get into those upon my initial visit. This is a lovely fairly recent addition to Highland Park and one that I recommend you explore. If the name sounds familiar, it should. There are two other locations you may very well be familiar with, one on Waukegan road in Wheeling, and the other in Roselle. I would recommend starting with a flight to get a better feel for the range of wines they offer. There are your expected staples, along with some more aperitif sweeter options. Some of my faves this visit were the Tempranillo 2019,Sauvignon blanc, and the Syrah. The sweets were honestly too sweet for this kid. There is a wine club that you can join and I recommend that you do, we did! If you are looking for a third place to catch up with friends or family, the HP location will definitely lend itself well. Also take advantage of Wine Down Wednesdays for additional deals as well. If you happen to be visiting The Lot for an event, caddy corner across the street, this venue is literally steps away, be sure to stop in and say hello. If needed, the parking across from the venue allows three hours free.“
“Quite a drive for me but worth the trip. Easy parking, the place was inviting even from the outside, and seating was comfortable. Our waitress was super nice and attentive throughout our meal. All three of us had the bottomless mimosa, which is only worth it if you drink three or more. I chose it because I wanted to try the different kinds of mimosas: oj, cranberry, and pineapple. Yum to them all. For my meal, I split the Veggie Fritatta and the Chiliquiles with my friend. I liked the chiliqiiles more (crunchy chips) than the fritatta (chunks of potato). The special: corn beef eggrolls were also really good. My other friend had the steak and cheese, which she loved. The amount given was just enough, and the prices were decent.“

“A group of us went here last night. It was fantastic in every way. From the moment we walked in it felt like we were in Spain- from the greeting by the waiters when we walked in, to the music, the wine bottles on the wall .... And most of all... THE FOOD!!! The Gambas Al Ajillo was the standout dish- so incredibly flavorful and authentic- but more flavor than most tapas bars I went to in Barcelona. We also had the octopus, chuleton steak, patatas bravas and like 9 more. Everything better than the next. My friends husband said the steak was one of best steaks he's ever had. The wine list was well curated, amazing job there and the vermouth hit the spot. We loved the cava. The service was top notch- Juan our waiter explained each dish and his recommendations were perfect. The food comes out fast - the whole staff did a wonderful job. It really shows how much they love their jobs-everyone was smiling and laughing. It is a bit loud at times because the dining room is small but we loved the whole vibe. What a hidden gem!!! Can't wait to go back and order takeout!“

“We had the most wonderful experience at the watercolor art class held at Lynfred Winery in Wheeling. Becca, our instructor, was simply amazing and incredibly professional. Her welcoming personality set the tone for a fantastic class.We came for this class with a group of girls, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The winery itself is cozy and provides a warm, inviting atmosphere that was perfect for such event.What made this experience even more special was the inclusion of a glass of wine and a delightful selection of cheese and meats. The butter cake was very good also. We enjoyed our evening and will definitely add the Lawn to our dining list.“
“We hired Froggy's from a list of approved caterers at our venue. They also provided some dessert. Froggy's tried to meet all our requests and people seemed to enjoy the food. The service was attentive during our meal and open bar time. There were some unfortunate issues at the end of the night and a missing cake, but Froggy's did their best to resolve them (for example, making a new cake top for us to enjoy on our first anniversary).“
“We had a girls dinner at Coopers Hawk and all was fantastic - the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress Paula was amazing and just so sweet attentive. I ordered some appetizers to munch on. The drunken shrimp (came with 5) were good and crisp. the ‘over the border egg rolls’ were the best I have ever had! Two of the three dipping sauces it came with were dynamite! “3/23/24 my son Isaac and I visited the Wheeling location. My son has a severe gluten allergy. Maggie, our server went above and beyond to help accommodate my son's allergy. “Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! My wife and I met three other couples for dinner here for our first time ar Agios. Im glad this place was selected! Let's start with the fantastic clam chowder, which I would highly recommend getting for an appetizer! I just wish they offered this in a bowl instead of a cup as It's too damn good to just have a cup! This is the best clam chowder that I've ever experienced! Someone ordered some nice bottles of cabs for dinner, which I downed with my bread and calamari dishes! Every time I set my cup of water down, it was quickly refilled by the fabulous Lucio! The main course was the house made lobster ravioli......this was unbelievable! I had to get another bread basket to soak the delicious leftover sauce from the ravioli. A couple of my buddies got the lamb shanks, which looked like it was cut from the Fred Flintstone era. These were humongous! I had a great cup of coffee to settle my stomach down. Our waitress was fantastic, always attentive and prompt with her appearance. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Palantine, stop over at Agios! I don't give 5 stars often, but this place earns and deserves it!“
“The food was delicious and the portions were fairly large. The bread, served with the olive tapenade was awesome. We had the Fried Calamari, delicious! I had the Linguine Pescatore. The shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops that came on that were really good and they were huge! The Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives was spot on. The service was a bit scattered the night we were there. It was super busy so kind of understand that. All in all, a great experience.“
