We’ve been here multiple times in the last 20 years and the food remains solid while the service is even better. Our last visit was prepandemic so we were interested if there would be changes. Still chef Vellegas is working his magic in the kitchen. The chips and salsa are a welcome hello and pair well with a drink or beer. We had the soup and salad and both nicely seasoned and fresh. I've been coming here for a while now but for some reason the fried plantas are always under cooked. I've had to ask a couple of times that it's ok to get them brown frying them allows for the juice inside the plantan to become sweeter. Which me and my family love. I'll still keep coming so no worries.
