“Suffron Cafe is a great option for tasty Mediterranean food in Chicago. The place doesn’t have much seating inside, but they’ve added a couple of tables outside, which definitely helps when the weather allows it.

We sat outside and had the gyro plate, beef kabob plate, and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). Both plates came with generous portions, and everything was very tasty. The meat was flavorful, and the rice, hummus and salad made for a very filling meal. The dolmas were also a nice addition to share.

Even though we ordered at the counter, the food was brought out to our table. Good food, generous portions and friendly service. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for Mediterranean food in the area.“

“This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The food was spectacular, it wasnt super greasy, but was greasy enough to satisfy my body's needs.
The hospitality? There is literally no way to improve. Jimmy, the owner, was funny, kind, and made this dining experience, an experience ill never forget. I wish I could say more, but honestly you have to experience it for yourself.

“I was in the neighborhood and made it just in time for their lunch special, between 11-1pm. I had the cashew chicken with a spring roll to start, and a Thai Ice tea. The server asked how spicy I wanted it and gave a choice between 1-5, I chose 4, but when it came out they had forgotten to add it, so he quickly took it back to add it. It was a chopped up Thai chili and the dish was delicious and fresh tasting. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish.“

The banh mi had the perfect ratio of toppings and I had no complaints with it. The milk tea was a little sweet for my taste, so next time I think I would ask for less sugar. The second time I came I tried the vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken skewers. The fish sauce is garlicky and spicy and everything tasted fresh. They also have sugarcane juice which was delicious. “I love this place. Great little family Mexican restaurant that specializes in grilled chicken. Every now and again a small portion of the chicken is a little dry, but that's usually when I'm picking up later in the day and sometimes I wish for a little more salt in the salsa but I'm not docking any points though because I don't need more salt, my dog loves any bits of dry chicken I've run into, and I love their carne asada burritos and their breakfast specials.“

The staff is super friendly with great suggestions and happy to make modifications. In the morning I’ll get a banana fosters latte but half sweet which is just perfect. It’s got a lovely banana cinnamon mix. For lunch I’ll get the shawarma salad with chicken, the rice in a nice touch that makes this feel more like a meal than just a salad. “Its a been a while since Ive been at an Olive Garden. The service was great: patient and efficient. I had the shrimp scampi lunch portion that came with a soup - it was the perfect size & tasted good. Also had the Sicilian Cheesecake; not gourmet but good.

The manager came out to greet us near the end of the meal. He asked about our food and service & offered to take away our empty plates. He then gave us a card with a QR code to scan and provide feedback. He also flipped the small screen around, so we assumed he was encouraging us to use it to order dessert and pay? Then he walked away, forgetting to take the empty plates - haha.“
