“Hidden gem with excellent food. We frequent a few times a month— because the food is just that good. Our fav apps include Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoon, & Pan Fried Dumplings. For entrees, can’t go wrong with Homemade Dumpling Soup, Thai Style Fried Rice, Pad Thai, or Thai BBQ Pork with noodles. My husband is more adventurous and his MVP’s are Massaman Curry & Thai Red Curry. We are slowly making our way through the entire menu but hard not to just order our favorites every time. Thai Milk Tea is also delish. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

“Great quality food, firendly service and their hours come in clutch when I want a taco at late times of the day low key. But I do have a couple of gripes. Their food is relatively expensive but their portions are good, i have never left this place on a empty stomach. That being said they removed the complimentary chips when you dine in, that made me big sad because they're chips with salsa was basically a side of its own so Id always just dine in. Definitely a must try.“

“While in town, a friend suggested to meet at La Crepe Bistro for lunch. When we arrived, there was no parking which indicated that it is quite the spot! After circling the parking lot for 5-10 minutes we were finally able to snag a spot! We were asked if we had a reservation (we did not) and the server said they only take reservations that day but we’re able to fit us in which was great.

We were able to get a cute table for the three of us and were promptly greeted by the server. I really don’t know if she even told us her name, but she was okay. Not very friendly but their dresses and hair were stunning! Really fits the vibe of the bistro theme so that was fun.

The menu is incredible and has a wide variety of options. There is definitely something for everyone. I ordered the croissant sandwich that came with a choice of ham, Canadian bacon, or bacon. Opted for the bacon. It was absolutely delicious. Skip the mustard on the sandwich though, it was a little too much. Fries and fruit were great! Before I even had the chance to ask, the berry crepe was already devoured so I think you can assume it was amazing! The burger was also good I was told. Everything was fresh and the presentation was very cute.

Once we were done, we stayed for a bit to catch up and chit chat but we were getting the impression the servers wanted us to leave as they almost immediately dropped off the check and were hovering around the table. Finally, we decided to leave because the looks just got uncomfortable and as we were putting on our coats to leave they were already clearing the rest of the table rolling their eyes. Kind of disappointing considering it wasn’t like people were waiting for a table or anything.

Overall, atmosphere and food was fantastic!!! We will definitely be back but will take our time eating so that we don’t get the boot or ugly stares by the servers.“

“The food was simply fantastic. I ordered the Lithuanian beef sandwich, it was constructed to perfection. The beef was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients. For a international European store, there is a vast variety of food you will explore there. Overall, Peter’s Deli in Lemont is a hidden gem with the best family-friendly atmosphere and a landmark on this planet. I’ll definitely be returning!

Dietary restrictions: While I don’t have any dietary restrictions, I did notice they have several options available for those who might need gluten-free or vegetarian choices, which is great to see at a deli.

Parking: Parking is convenient with plenty of spots available in their lot always. I had no problem finding a spot even during a busy lunchtime. There’s a good-sized parking area right next to the deli, making it easy to stop by whether you're grabbing takeout or dining in.

Kid-friendliness: They embraced my kids with friendliness and joy.“

Decided before we even drove 600 miles up here to come to merichkas friday the day after thankgiving and invite the family out to join us. made reservations for 6pm for a large table ,our 10 party members showed up on time . our table was ready . for parties over 8 people an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. our waitress forgot to bring a salad , didnt refill a few drinks even after being asked, forgot to drop my daughters porkchop order so it didnt come until everyone else was just about done eating so they comped and put it up in a take home box. for demanding 18% tip we should have had impeccable table service. definitely not the merichkas we remember.“

This was my second time at Johnny's but first time at this location. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and the food phenomenal! It's a casual place to grab a great Italian Beef... They have several options besides the Italian Besf which I do plan on trying if I can eat there without ordering my favorite!“

“The flat pizza at Home Run Inn is so much better. We decided to try the deep dish pizza because it was new here. The sauce is just chunky tomato sauce that tastes like it came straight out of a can. Too harsh and acidic. If you could eat tomato sauce from a can, go for it; otherwise, get the flat pizza. The service was good and the staff were friendly.“
