“Not only do they have an impressive selection of very tasty brews, the food is gourmet level, even if you just go for lunch! My wife and I enjoy it, perhaps a little too much. Our kids less so, but they're not old enough to enjoy the good stuff. ?“
“Great place to hang out. It wasn't too crowded when we got there ariund 5ish on a Friday evening, however, within two hours there were no tables available. The upstairs location was closed off. This brewery is like a house that was converted into a bar/brewery. A variety of beer types on tap to select from with limited food options. The bar tenders/employees are really attentive and courteous. Would definitely check this place out again on a Friday evening or weekend.“
“Ike & Oak has lots of great craft beers and some pretty tasty food. The state fair pork tenderloin sandwich is huge and delicious; make sure to ask for it "cyclone style", which means being coated in truffle hot sauce! Fries are good, the campfire style pizzas have a nice burnt cheese edge, and the mini corn dogs are lots of fun. Service has been fine for the most part, it can get noisy at times (especially on trivia nights). I'd definitely recommend this place for meeting friends or small groups!“
“Went for a pairing dinner and everything was outstanding. Will definitely go back for a menu item and drink when in the area.Parking: The main lots are easy to access and there is a circular drive to drop someone off at the door.Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance is at ground level, no steps at all. The second entrance is inside the main building also no steps at all.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elmhurst Brewing Company, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience. The craft beers are an absolute delight, boasting rich flavors and a perfect balance that showcases the brewers' expertise. The food offerings complement the brews seamlessly, with a menu that not only satisfies the palate but elevates the entire dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, the service is top-notch, and the overall atmosphere makes it a standout destination. Elmhurst Brewing Company has truly mastered the art of crafting delicious beers and offering exceptional food—a definite five-star experience!“
“We love Emmett's! Great beer selection and the food is always so good. We like the vibe of the bar. We enjoy stopping in for a drink and an appetizer (I recommend the lettuce wraps). Definitely worth stopping in when visiting downtown downers grove!“
“Great new bar restaurant. New construction, open feel, bar in the middle. Had a work party there with drinks and great munchies food. The sliders were so tasty and good, both BBQ pork and burger sliders. Cinnamon pretzel bites woth honey butter were amazing.“
“We had reservations for a table and were seated right away. We sat for over 15 minutes before asking a few different employees for a waiter. We soon realized the place was drastically understaffed. We went to the bar to get drinks while we waited and eventually got served. I will say that the staff they did have was hustling like crazy so can't be mad at them a bit but management didn't seem present and the small staff was overwhelmed. They had a band while we were there and they were awesome. Food was all very tasty as were the drinks.“
“Noon Whistle has always been a cool spot with some great beers, but they recently also launched a new food menu. Of course we had to try the pizza and it was so fricken good. We were there yesterday for lunch and I’m about ready to brave the -30 degree temps to go eat the same lunch again. You have to check it out.“
