I pull up to find a horse hitched out back. Turns out the horse's owner has passed thru here 18 years ago and remembered the place after all those years. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, the food is good, and the prices are cheap. You can't beat the atmosphere. This is the kind of place that trendy bars wishes they were. Many of our guests were from out of state or from Chicago and they will be adding Steve and Nancy's to their restaurant list when they are back in town! “I got chicken dinners to go. Was recommended by a family member. I had never been there before. The flavor of the chicken was good. I ordered one with a baked potato and one with an order of American fries. I was disappointed in both potato choices. One was very greasy and one was overcooked. The salads were good. So I got plenty to eat. The price was good. Not too expensive, about average with the area.”

Anna, was the most helpful with our wedding catering and made sure everything was perfect 👌 The food was amazing and our guests still talk about it months later! They had the best service team and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra add ons we had.
