“Food was good, server was attentive, but nickle and diming people for extra chips and salsa and stuff like that is why the restaurant is empty on a Sunday afternoon. People don’t come back if they don’t think it’s a deal. It puts a bad taste in people’s mouth regardless of how good the food is. I’m not going back because I felt like they were trying to swindle me. I’m not saying, I’m just saying.“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. “I took My Daughter and 2 Grandsons to eat dinner on Friday, Dec 13th. Our server, Imani C, couldn't have been more irresponsible. 1st, My Grandson ordered a lemonade, and was brought a sprite. He kept it anyway. My Daughter ordered a SMALL salad, and was brought a LARGE one. ( was charged for large) and She kept that too. My Grandsons ordered a pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni. Got pepperoni on ALL of it. So as to not have them wait while my Daughter and I ate, We kept it also. My Daughter ordered My Son In Law a large order of Homer's donuts, only was given 3. Took My Son, Grandsons , and Husband to eat at Texas Roadhouse last week, and We all got steak dinners for the price we paid for Pizzas here!! Have eaten here numerous times before with no problems. This was a horrible visit, and it will be a long time before I bring My Family here again!! ☆☆It was the Schererville In location.☆☆“

My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. “Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about this spot and they did not disappoint at all. Very good pizza, to be honest some of the best I’ve had in this area. Perfect crust with good texture and bite with an amazing crunch at the end. Fresh toppings and perfectly browned cheese. Got a large sausage and pepperoni with half green pepper and onion and they load it up. The sauce is more of a savory sauce which pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the proteins and sweetness of the veggies. Will absolutely be back for more. 10/10 for me !!!!!“

“Always check hours online - and watch your step when you walk in the front door. There are a ton of food items on this menu - including a refrigerated section for soup, frozen pierogies, and there are other salads and desserts.

You do get a discount if you pay in CASH.

I tried some pierogis - potato and sweet cheese. They appear to be fried as they are a bit crunchy, but I like them like that. They are pretty full pierogis. You can order them frozen to go home and cook on your own - or have them cooked to order.

I also got the order of polish sausage w/kraut and some fries. The polish sausage is snappy and the kraut is great. The bun I could do without, but I just removed it and ate on it's own. The fries were salty with a mix of crispy and soggy ones.

I will definitely be back to try more options and more pierogis!

Inside is small, but they added some extra eating in the room next door. You can dine in if you wish, it never seemed too crowded.“

“We ❤️ Thornton Distilling!! We come here regularly and I just realized I've never left a review encouraging others to check it out. The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“
