“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

“Gracie O’Mallys provided the best food and drink experience I’ve had in a long time in the city. The atmosphere was fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service from our server, Tina. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was at the table every few minutes making sure we were NEVER thirsty. She had a smile on her face the entire time and was such a pleasure. I’ve never experienced better service anywhere—highly recommend this place!!!!!“

“As a tourist the night shift was good. Went during the day got a huge hold in my card for 1 drink. Ordered a second, stepped outside to smoke someone picked up my drink and snaked right after I went outside and the bartender acted like this was a normal thing. Embarrassing! (Edit) The bartender did make an effort to go out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated after the incident and took what I had to say to heart. Preemptive review, exactly that. Not too shabby. “This place has a cool, hip vibe and it’s fun to eat at the communal tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of beer and creative craft cocktails. Food is beautifully plated and delicious - make sure to try the potatoes, baby gem salad and hanger steak.“

“Cork & Kerry is a Southside iconic pub. It has a great atmosphere, beer & drink selection. The service is great. It's the type of place you will run into someone you know. They don't serve food there, but they will let you bring it in. There is a great party room for any occasion. There is plenty of room for at least 75 people comfortably. You can bring in your own decorations, food, and desserts. They will let you run an open bar tab or customize the occasion to your price range. Parking can be tricky depending on what day of the week you visit. There is only free street parking. You may have to drive to a side street unless it's not busy. Overall, Cork & Kerry is a great Southside Irish bar to visit.“

“The new management is wonderful! My husband and I have been patroning McNally's since we moved to the area. We were sad when they announced they were closing at the end of 2024, but THRILLED when they reopened under new management in 2025.

Staff are very friendly, and their private event space is perfect! I recently held my baby shower there and the space had everything I could have asked for. Plenty of tables for both seating, food/deserts, and gifts. Management was very responsive to booking the space and answering questions. 10/10 would host another event there.“

“This is the perfect neighborhood bar. Cash only! Bartenders are friendly and properly trained to make drinks. No food, but you can order door dash or whatever. Good beer list at reasonable prices. Pool Tables are free. Love that this is in walking distance from our house.“
