“Catering from Flatlander Market was excellent! We used them for our daughter’s wedding of 150 guests at a private venue. Rocco and Sally went out of their way to meet our needs, providing gf df and vegan options. They are professional yet kind and personable. The food tasted wonderful and the service they provided was exceptional. I would highly recommend them!”

“Another great day, ride, and burger. Voted by 100% in our group as the best or second-best burger so far this year! The 3/4 lb fresh patty makes all the difference between a good burger and a great burger. A quarter pound burger, even when triple stacked, is never as good as this 3/4 lb burger. The bun today was signature branded and was perfect and didn't compete with or detract from the burger but became one with the burger. The properly stacked burger toppings held their individual flavors with each juicy bite!!! A must visit place in Marengo, IL.”

“This evening, we had the pleasure of dining in. I selected the lasagna, my niece had the chicken Parmesan, and we shared bruschetta as an appetizer. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the waitstaff provided outstanding service, being both attentive and courteous.”

“First visit. Immediately welcoming and comfortable environment. Diverse menu and appealing specials available. Great, personal service. Large portions at fair prices. Alcoholic beverages and gambling machines available. Just an all-around old school family restaurant that is doing it right.

Parking: Plenty of street parking available.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here.

Wheelchair accessibility: It will be a little tight, but I'm sure they're happy to accommodate everyone.”

“I’ve had a lot of pizza. This is very very good pizza! Just delicious, fresh tasting, good sauce, generous toppings! Staff is really friendly, vibes are casual but fun. There’s not full table service for dine in but they definitely make sure you have everything you need and provide real plates and silverware etc. I live 40 mins away and time to time meet some friends who live in the suburbs here bc it’s about halfway. The pizza is definitely worth the drive!”

“Came across this place on a road trip and liked it so much we decided to make a second stop for breakfast. The food is delicious and generously portioned. The first day I had the Greek scramble, the second we tried the french toast with fruit (pictured), and both were fantastic. The service is quick and friendly; this place obviously has a lot of regulars, and for good reason. Will absolutely return on our next visit to the area.”

“Sams is by far my favorite bar in the area. Always great service. Fridays and Saturdays can be really fun. Drink prices are great. What I drink is half the price the other bars located on the same street. Went to sams for my birthday in september for first time and it was such a great experience. It was not a fluke. I try to make it there every couple weeks. Sams is the only bar I go to now. Thank you for being such a great bar. 😁”

And I must say they did an absolutely wonderful job, with setting everything up to the food & being attentative to any of the guests needs. Had guests tell me the place was beautiful & the food was exquisite with taste & variety! Hats off to you Niko, Chandra & the rest of your staff for a job well done!! 💕💕”

“Long time drive up restaurant. Old fashioned burgers, fries, and ice cream place. Service can occasionally be a bit slow, patience is advised. The ice cream treats are always delicious. Burgers can be a bit dry. Curly fries are the best of the potato choices. The portions for fries are pretty big so go one smaller than you think and then get more if you’re not full. Get the cheese on the side of the cheese fries. They tend to get soggy and cold quickly and not as appetizing. We go here frequently and will continue.

Vegetarian options: French fries, onion rings. Not the place to go for vegetarian choices.

Kid-friendliness: Small and limited indoor dining. Lots of outdoor seating in season. The menu is very kid friendly, and we all scream for ice cream. ?”

“This is THE best McDonald's to get breakfast at ever! The food is always hot and delicious. You will not find a better hashbrown anywhere 10 out of 10! Always crispy with great potato flavor. The morning crew is always friendly and kind, just a great group, we love them!”
