I have always enjoyed this restaurant. I used to work in Marengo and this place is literally the only reason I come back to said town. The food is always great and so is the service. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. I have seen the same people working every time I come here which is probably why the quality and service has always been superb.
Really nice store. I ate very well, and it's fair. I don't usually eat, I went out of my comfort zone and was amazed it was great.Parking: Street parking it may be so busy you have to cross the busy street to get a spot.

I have driven by Flatlander for years on my way up to Fontana, WI, and finally stopped yesterday for a sandwich. I felt like I was stepping back in time. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a warm smile and hello by five workers in this family-run establishment. While waiting for my sandwich, I checked the history adoring the place's walls.
