We love Crossroads. It's nothing fancy, but comfortable. Had a recent update. It has the hometown diner vibe. Large menu. Several specials each day. Large portions for the price. Nice sized salad bar. Breakfast available all day (their pancakes are so good).
I was genuinely surprised by this gem along the highway. Tucked back off the road is a restaurant that is a time capsule. Wonderful service, the best food I have eaten in a very long time cooked by the owner, and service that harkens to the 70's with genuine kind people that are interested in you. Stopped in from out of town wanting breakfast. Had eggs, bacon, hash browns and sour dough toast. Everything was great! And when we left they handed me a “message in a bottle”. Very inspiring and motivational. I will be back when in the area next time.
