“We came here for ice cream after a great lunch and then walking around in downtown McHenry all day on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The portions are HUGE, you will definitely be just fine with a medium if you were looking for a large. It is so good and the workers there are amazing. “I brought my 2 daughters here and had a wonderful experience. Hunter was on duty and he was so pleasant and kind! I wish more people were like him. Fresh tasting fruit drinks and full of flavor, very decently priced too. We give Hunter and the smoothies a very enthusiastic 2 thumbs up and 5 star review!“

“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“
