“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“The owner Aurelio provided us with some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. He is great at explaining the options he offers and made me feel welcomed to ask any questions. I appreciate his hard work and the variety offered at this Michoacana. There’s even a bakery here! I’m obsessed with this store and will be coming back with all my friends this summer!“

“Ice cream is always good. But this location is horrible. They need to move to an easier accessed location. They would make more money.You have to drive around the back of Epic Deli and the back building area. After you order is one sharp as left turn to get in line with the drive thru. Plus the outside drive thru area is really filthy. They need to wash the wall and put new advertising up. Hey owners give the outside some care.“

“We love fro-yo and this is our go-to spot. They are regularly changing out different flavors while leaving certain staples all the time. There's a wide variety of toppings. The place is always clean. There's a public restroom, which is helpful when visiting with littles. One of my children is lactose intolerant and there aren't many selections for her, so seeing additional allergy-friendly flavors would be nice.“

“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“

“I have updated my review to 5 stars because they are one of the few fast food restaurants that has a good tasting gluten free hamburger bun.

Dietary restrictions: Though they have gluten free buns, they do not have designated gluten free cooking stations. I am not hypersensitive to gluten so I can eat their burgers and grilled chicken without adverse reactions.“

“We have been using them for a while now every year for our nursing facilities. Our company pays for everyone's ice-cream and shaved ice for our staff, residents and their families. We have had nothing, but great experiences with them. We get our receipts emailed to us right away. The workers have always been kind and provide good service. It's always a big hit for our buildings and everyone looks forward to it every year!“

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“

For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“
