“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“We came here for ice cream after a great lunch and then walking around in downtown McHenry all day on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The portions are HUGE, you will definitely be just fine with a medium if you were looking for a large. It is so good and the workers there are amazing. I have zero complaints and I will definitely make sure to be back sometime soon. (Written 5-27-26)“

“We drive 25 minutes out of our way just to get this. They are very consistent with their drinks and even when they're busy I never get hard and old boba unlike some other places in the area. Pricing is fair and equal to other places but quality itself beats their competitors in my opinion.“

I have to have it every day and I walked miles to that ice cream parlor this week the owner and the boy Jake that worked there was such awesome people too. I will definitely be back. “Usually great service and people, but you guys missed the mark tonight. The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. Not a great outing tonight.“

“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“

“The food was good. I ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches at around 9pm from the drive through. The order took not even 5 minutes and it was so good. You could tell everything was fresh and of high quality. Also, both the drive through window girl and the gentleman that walked out my order to me were nice. Good job Culver's!“

“Was so sad when Yumz! in Crystal Lake shut down years back, and was happy there’s still a froyo place open in McHenry. When I first tried the flavors here a couple years ago, they were NOT it, gross, something was off and even my favorite flavor I didn’t like. Wasn’t going to come back, but I happened to be nextdoor today and thought might as well try it again, and I’m glad I did because the flavors are great this time around. Including my favorite flavor (cake batter- yum!). So whoever made the flavors for 2/19/25, good job. I will be frequenting now.“
