My wedding was scheduled for August 8,2020. But due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to cancel. Janice was extremely compassionate, understanding and flexible during the whole process. Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. Janice immediately offered a refund, date change or gift card for the deposit. Sweet Home Gelato was under no circumstance required to issue a refund. But even when it gets cold out, still fun to go to even during a brutal Chicago area winter.This is probably the one ice cream parlor around compared to others that has a huge emphasis on toppings/creations which is definitely their strong point.Always a great selection of flavors between their regular year round and seasonal flavors, prices still seem reasonable although the high-end ice cream chain has never really been cheap and customer service remains consistently good in an always spiffy clean/sanitized atmosphere.CSC obviously does battle with competitors such as Oberweis up the road and Graeter's. I guess I musta been living under rock (actually no) but apparently I misunderstood the concept behind the famed bakery.When I first walked in and browsed the menu, I was like "only 6 different types of cookies?" Well ok then, guess I'll try each one times 2. I eventually found out from my stepdaughter that there's a rotation each week which makes perfect sense.These cookies are outstanding: they stay soft, moist & flavorful for several days and the price which may seem high to some is definitely worth it. The ability to add on to the cookies is ideal as well.Customer service is down-to-earth friendly and helpful and as long as they keep baking that yummy goodness with consistency, I'll keep coming back for more.“

“The Little Bean Coffee Company: My Wife and I came here for lunch while visiting my Son. He wanted to treat us to something local and we decided to come here. Neither of us had ever been here and really didn't know what to expect.
We were pleasantly surprised.
I had the Signature Grilled Cheese Sandwich and chips. The sandwich had at least 3 different cheeses including a Gouda cheese. It was delicious. I also enjoyed their Carmel Coffee.
My wife and son had burritos: A breakfast one for my son and the Vegan for my wife. They enjoyed them and rated them Very Good!
The service was very good. The atmosphere was different than I'm used to. The tables and chairs were all different. Some were big for larger groups. Some small. There were different rooms you could eat in if you wanted a quieter environment.

He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. He said they were the BEST donuts he’s ever had! I had the cold brew with sweet cream which was solid.“

“We stopped by to try BR's version of the Mangonada. It looked very colorful and mouth watering. It's more of a smoothie than an ice cream, which explains why the guy looked at me weird when I asked for a spoon ?. So besides getting over the difference in consistency, it's Really Good! I started eating it with a spoon and then just gave up and stuck the straw in ?. It's a nice twist on the original Mangonada. I will definitely buy again!“

But, I wanted to shout out... I just used the recipe off of their website for their fish fry batter.

We have religious restrictions and don't eat red meat on Xmas Eve. So we do a fish fry instead.

Culver's is just a really great company, because they publish the recipe for their really great fish fry! The family was super pleased with how everything turned out.

Vegetarian options: Fried fish of several types. Fried onions. Fried cheese curds.

“I’m lucky to be right next to Michoacán a Pedir de Boca at the mall! Their treats are seriously the best. Fresh fruit, ice cream, elote, amazing drink flavors, and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome every time. I’ve been to many Michoacanas, and this one has the best fresh fruit drinks I’ve had (agua de fruta is my favorite). I haven’t even had the chance to try everything yet, but if you’re at Gurnee Mills, you’ve got to stop by. Great people, great treats…can’t recommend them enough!“

“I just left this location. I think they said their names were Claudia and some thing else I can’t remember the other girls name but they’re amazing.!! I come here probably four times if not five times a week before work to get my coffee donuts sometimes a bagel and they are always fast and very lovely and easy to deal with in the morning.. I feel like in the last couple years. Customer service has went way down in the area but this Dunkin’ Donuts location. The girls that work early in the morning are awesome.“

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“
