“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“

“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. “We stopped by to try BR's version of the Mangonada. It looked very colorful and mouth watering. It's more of a smoothie than an ice cream, which explains why the guy looked at me weird when I asked for a spoon ?. So besides getting over the difference in consistency, it's Really Good! I started eating it with a spoon and then just gave up and stuck the straw in ?. It's a nice twist on the original Mangonada. I will definitely buy again!“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“My son and I enjoyed our visit to Coldstone Creamer Deer Park, IL yesterday. I absolutely love the Coffee Lovers ice cream. Hard to try another choice when you know you know you love a specific choice. Love this place!

Kid-friendliness: Love that the display is glass and low enough for kids to admire the selection. They have great waffle cones too. So many options! And they even sell chocolate!

“I just left this location. I think they said their names were Claudia and some thing else I can’t remember the other girls name but they’re amazing.!! I come here probably four times if not five times a week before work to get my coffee donuts sometimes a bagel and they are always fast and very lovely and easy to deal with in the morning.. I feel like in the last couple years. Customer service has went way down in the area but this Dunkin’ Donuts location. The girls that work early in the morning are awesome.“

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! They have an impressive variety of ice creams and popsicles, when you enter you will crave everything….

The last time I ordered some dorillocos... I'm a little harsh with the rating and I give them a 3, they could include lemon, cucumber and more cueritos, they almost didn't have them.

The ice creams pffff are a delight just like the horchata water.

Parking: Well, it's not very big but cars come and go constantly, which means you won't wait more than 3 minutes to find your box.
