“Usually great service and people, but you guys missed the mark tonight. The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. Not a great outing tonight.“

“The owners deliver pure magic to both children and adults alike! It truly is a happy place, you can feel it as soon as you walk in. The Peach smoothie was excellent and I look forward to trying more, there were many sorbets and ice cream flavors to choose from. “My wife and I went to Garden on Main with my daughter and her finance for a late lunch. I was told by a neighbor to try them out. My daughter and I had the soup of the day. ( Can't remember the name but had egg and sausage ) The soup was recommended by our waitress and it was a great choice !! The food was GREAT and the service was just as good !! We joked with one of the waitress the food taste like someone mom made it. She stated that there are two mom's in the kitchen cooking right now. The food was very flavorful, fresh and a lot of it ! Two meals ,one salad ,two soup's ,two ice tea's, one coke and a beer under $100 :) To top it off, my wife went over to check out the different ice cream. Nice gesture, they gave her two free scoops. Smart :) Looking forward to stopping by in the morning for a nice cup of coffee in the future..“

“Beautiful & delicious gem in Downtown Algonquin.This is truly one of the BEST ice cream I have ever had. The atmosphere is nice. There is a little stage with instruments. If you are a musician the owner will let you play. There is a patio too if you prefer to sit outside. The service was very welcoming and polite. I will definitely be back for more ice cream!We had the non dairy- blueberry and also the Cookies and cream, both were fantastic!“

“Just visited for the first time and it will not be the last. I was not sure what to get and our server, Bella, recommended the Snow Day. It is a soft serve and slushy mixed together---Delishous. They're fantastic. Mellie's is also attached to the antique store and there are plenty of treasures to be found there too.“

“Good choice for toppings on vanilla or chocolate soft serve ice cream. Soft serve was good quality but instantly turns runny in mostly anything other than a cone (eg sundae). Personally I'm a custard guy though and would rather have ice cream flavors instead of toppings. Next time we'll have to try their shaved ice.“

“In Round Lake we're lucky enough to have three Michoacanas but this one next to Olandos is hands down the best of the three. Why? -Awesome customer service -Quick service -Everything is prepared without skimping -Fresh ingredients -Get samples of all ice creams (which you can get at the other ones but sometimes the employees at the other ones get kind of annoyed if you ask for more than a couple) If you're in Round Lake definitely stop by here to pick up some fresh ice cream, tortas, refreshers and more Mexican food creations.“

SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. When we went, most of the staff spoke Spanish so if you're an English speaker be prepared for a language barrier. They did have one person that spoke English and helped since we weren't familiar with all the flavors. It was really clean which was nice. The elote was a little watery but I still enjoyed the flavor. This is the only place I go for Mexican style ice cream in the area.“

“I came here and they have delicious bubble tea and frozen yogurt, they also have many options for toppings. I purchased the lychee boba and it was so delicious! The place is very clean to. However the hours are a bit odd they open pretty late but they close late to which is convenient. Overall great place!“
