“Ordered 2 specialty cakes for me and my brother in laws birthday. Had a power outage and the cakes melted overnight. They had their cake decorator come in and make them again last minute. Will be going here for my birthday cakes from now on!“

“Stopped at Culver’s on Route 83 as a last minute treat after a really rough morning at work, and the experience completely turned my day around.

I was greeted by the sweetest employee. I later called and found out her name was Hannah 🤩 She was so cheerful, patient, and genuinely kind. Her attitude alone put me in a much better mood.

Honestly, the positivity seems to carry through the whole restaurant because every employee I interacted with was friendly and enthusiastic, including the person who answered my call and the guy who brought out my food.

Such a great atmosphere and energy. I’ll definitely be coming back and taking the time to eat inside next time.

Kids always get blizzards so it's an easy order, but they come out quickly and correctly do it's a win win.“

“Slighly higher prices than the places we usually visit (Hansen's in Wilmot and Rusty Malts in Ringwood) We live in Fox Lake so Round Lake is a little closer than our usual stop for ice cream with the grandkids. That said, the grandkids loved La Michoacana! Incredibly colorful with a seemingly endless variety. The Ice cream was delicious and the service was wonderful! I highly recommend them if you're in the Round Lake area.“

And I got my vanilla ice cream cone with the chocolate coating and it was absolutely delicious! the ice cream is always fresh and delicious and the employees are always so friendly. He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. “Always a great treat whether I'm with the family or not and especially on a hot summer day/night, Cold Stone really hits the spot. But even when it gets cold out, still fun to go to even during a brutal Chicago area winter.This is probably the one ice cream parlor around compared to others that has a huge emphasis on toppings/creations which is definitely their strong point.Always a great selection of flavors between their regular year round and seasonal flavors, prices still seem reasonable although the high-end ice cream chain has never really been cheap and customer service remains consistently good in an always spiffy clean/sanitized atmosphere.CSC obviously does battle with competitors such as Oberweis up the road and Graeter's. When it comes to taste and quality, this place lives up to the price and my kids are well worth it anytime of the year.Only con (which doesn't drag down a 5⭐️ rating) about this place is the parking lot which can be greatly limited especially on wknd nights when nearby Giordano's gets packed. You may find yourself having to park east across the street from Starbucks and walking a bit of distance.“

“1st time visiting this establishment. Very friendly and nostalgic atmosphere. Had their 1/3 burger and onion rings. It was fantastic!! Best burger I've had in a long time. Actually meaty and fresh not one of those frozen smash burgers. Can't wait for my next visit. Hope to try something new, if I can convince myself to skip the burgers. “I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“
