“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.“
“It's rare to get great service anywhere these days though all 3 people who helped us, 2 young men & 1 older woman, were friendly and helpful! We were given free small chocolate bar samples with our purchase of fudge, which was really good. Also got cappuccino chocolate chip ice cream that was very good. Wasn't sure where to eat it as it was very cold outside & they didn't have tables. Must have had that look on my face as I was kindly told there were tables in the building's common area, which served perfectly. Will definitely go back when in LG!“
“They had one dairy free safe option for my dairy allergic daughter and while it was only one option, it was still something and it brought her such joy. The girls working there was very kind and helpful as well. Thank you for providing one safe option for those little ones who can't enjoy dairy and giving a family a happy memory of enjoying "ice cream" on a warm night. I would love to go again and maybe let her pick between two option.“
“The 2 wonderful ladies I met while I was in there won me over already. The pizza is fantastic. I have never been a fan of Paulie’s Pizza. But once I seen the new name I had to try it. Absolutely go for the hearty sauce everytime. They have a phenomenal sauce. The margherita pizza is always very crispy and just to my liking. All the other pizzas I’ve had have been fantastic and crispy every single time. Cannot wait to try all of the amazing meals they have to offer. I’ve only just started!“

The place is perfectly located - cute as can be - has some seating inside and out (not a lot) and the friendliest staff that are so helpful in giving you tastes and ideas of all the combos available!!! “After a failed attempt to another McHenry bakery, we stumbled upon this location to purchase conchas for my daughters school project. The facility was extremely clean and they offered a wide variety of items. My daughter picked out her items and the young man cashing us out struck up a conversation with her. She informed him they were for a school project she was working on about Mexico. He smiled and told her that he thought he might have something special for her project. He came back with little toothpick flags and a ring for her. His overall generosity is beyond appreciated. We will definitely be returning customers!“
“Our family absolutely loves Something Sweet! The staff are amazing and super nice with the best customer service. Tonight I decided to take my kiddos out for some ice cream, I called to see if they were still open, she said “we’re technically closed but I’m still hear working on some baskets and I will wait for you guys to get here.” I am so thankful she waited for us and that I didn’t have to disappoint my little guy haha. She made our ice cream and we chatted for a bit, I told her how awesome she was for staying to wait for us so I tipped her $20. I forgot her name but if you remember us, we appreciate you so much.“
“I’ve been here 3 times now, and each time I’ve been greeted with smiles and kindness. The owners are very kind and welcoming. To make this better the scenery is very cool! Seeing the massive collection of antique Coca-Cola products is amazing, not to mention the food is amazing quality for its low prices. The mixed Italian sub and Italian beef are mind blowing and 10/10 recommend to everyone.“

“Really enjoyed the brownie chocolate ice cream waffle cone. Several other flavors including Java chip are available. Lots of flavors to add like sprinkles and candies. Also a banana split is available. Cute interior and some candies from a shelf are available for the road. Really enjoyed it for a quick stop and a nice view of the town.“
