“There were a fair variety of flavors, we had never been there before and no one was present when we walked in, there was an arrow on the wall that signified where to start though. I helped my youngest with her selection then the gal came and weighed hers and I didn’t feel rushed at all while I selected my toppings. “Holy…. This is really good ice cream. It comes with a slightly tall price but 100% worth it. I got the brownie cascade, one scoop on a dipped waffle cone. I was stuffed. Really good chocolate flavor! My wife really liked her strawberry in a regular waffle cone. I will definitely go back, and probably tomorrow lol.“

“Was so sad when Yumz! in Crystal Lake shut down years back, and was happy there’s still a froyo place open in McHenry. When I first tried the flavors here a couple years ago, they were NOT it, gross, something was off and even my favorite flavor I didn’t like. Wasn’t going to come back, but I happened to be nextdoor today and thought might as well try it again, and I’m glad I did because the flavors are great this time around. Including my favorite flavor (cake batter- yum!). So whoever made the flavors for 2/19/25, good job. I will be frequenting now.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“We came here for ice cream after a great lunch and then walking around in downtown McHenry all day on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The portions are HUGE, you will definitely be just fine with a medium if you were looking for a large. It is so good and the workers there are amazing. “Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“
