You may even enjoy getting to know your neighbors better if you live in the area and jump into a conversation over breakfast. You will never leave this diner hungry I promise you that. Check out Paloma diner and share your experience with friends and family. Let’s support our local businesses that fight to stay alive in this economy if you have the chance. “One of our favorite places to go. 5 stars from us. Service is always exceptional and food always very good. Had the meatloaf today and it was great. Been awhile since we had been able to be there and yet we were treated like loved friends who had been missed. Thanks,Tabitha and the other servers, for such warm welcomes and great service. See you all again soon.“
“I love eating here as it’s convenient and normally all the food is so good. But today I got the Southern breaded chicken strips and they were not good. So hard and crunchy that I had to peel the breading off to eat them. And then the “chicken” was tasteless. Im assuming frozen. As I paid $12 for the meal I wasn’t wasting it. I loved your homemade chicken you used to have on fridays. Please bring that back! Also I miss breakfast items you use to have. Also I think you need to change your one dollar sign to $$ or $$$ as prices are high.“
“You're going to have to search a little to find this place, because it isn't well marked (it's behind the main building on the Illinois Veterans Home campus... look for the little building with the post office box out front). It's worth looking for, though, because the food is great, everyone is friendly, and the prices are low -- $4 for a BLT and less than $5 for a Chicken Wrap. There are only a few tables inside and more outside (but still inside the main building), but I doubt this place gets too busy due to it's hidden location. Go there if you're visiting the All Wars Museum or folks at the Veterans Home, or just go there to get some good, cheap eats!“
“We don't normally go here but it was close. I had a great meal. Home cooked feel and great flavor. I had soup to go with my meal and it was very flavorful. The waitress was very friendly and on top of our drinks as well as everyone else's in the room. Prices were reasonable for Quincy. I liked the atmosphere and plan to return again.“
“My friend and i were out roadtrippin for the day and ended up round mendon and i know the cheeseburgers are the best. However my friend had never eaten there. So we called ordered and picked it up at window. My friend agrees the cheeseburgers are the best around. Go have one you will love it“
