“We drove to Mendota to visit a museum that had a section dedicated to Wild Bill Hickock. After that we began to look for a local food place to have lunch. We stopped to ask someone who was on their porch, and they said we should try Parkway. My grandson and I loved the place. Such friendly people working there. I asked our waitress if they were all family, because they all looked they could be, haha. She said they were a family. Grandson ordered a big hamburger meal and I chose the pork tenderloin. He was happy with his meal, and I must say the tenderloin was not only big, it was so very delicious. One of the best I have ever eaten. Not sure when we will get back to Mendota, but when we do I know where we will have a meal. God bless this family.“

“We had my sisters graduation dinner there tonight and we had one server for the 40 of us and she was amazing!!! Literally just kept her cool and was super great with the kids which is literally a god send most servers get stressed with little kids n she was a champ. I love the atmosphere and the food can’t say anything negitive about the food!!!!“
