“They were running a special on the Hog Skillet the morning we came in. Apparently, they were using a special pork tenderloin for it so we both decided to order it. The food came out quickly but the sliced, breaded pork tenderloin was so hard and rubbery that neither of us could stomach it. My friend let the server know and she apologized profusely before taking the dishes away and bringing out new ones, STAT. The second Hog Skillet was so much better. The pork tenderloin was nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way it should be! The server said that they went back to the original recipe for the re-make. The bad batch was frozen, I guess. This is a lesson not to cut corners! It's awful that the first dish was not up to standards but the staff all addressed the situation very professionally.“

“We were staying in Iowa, but we had to go to Illinois for a tender loin and made rite sandwich. Not far from the interstate, a cute dinner atmosphere, and pretty big portions. We opted for the bigger sandwiches on the menu and shared. The service checked in a few times. Definitely recommended.“

“Came in here two different times after a baseball tournaments nearby! they accommodated our team so well we went back!! food was all excellent!! ice cream!! lots of things for kids to see and explore!❤️❤️❤️ Already can't wait for tournaments next year so we can go again!“

“Took my mother here for Mothers Day. Had been here previously for dinner. Mom had steak and shrimp and I had a BLT. Our waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. Was only back once to refills drinks. Place wasn't that busy. Maybe she was just having a bad day.“
