“My husband and I live little over an hour away. We enjoy coming to the quad cities often. We by chance decided to try out Monarch Kitchen + Bar based off of their rating. All I can say is I am so impressed. Impressed with the care and quality of food. The wait staff are amazing. I am a person who doesn’t use seed oils at home. To know I can go out and eat somewhere and know the ingredients are fresh and good for you means everything. We stayed two days and ate there for lunch and came back the next day for dinner. We loved the lo mein and the garlic aioli fries, but honestly everything we tried was amazing. It is now our new favorite restaurant in the quad cities. We will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Thank you for making our trip even more special!“

Their cocktail game was pure shot-making—creative, well balanced, and happily customized to fit exactly what we were looking for. No mis-hits anywhere. The food? Absolute center-face contact. The chicken and dumpling soup was warm, comforting, and full of flavor—like a reliable approach shot that sticks the green. “This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing, seasoned perfectly and the onion ring half order was still more than enough. They have a robot that takes the dirty dishes to the kitchen then back to a corner until next time. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back.“

“My family and I were very well accommodated by Colleen (manager) and Erica (server/bartender) for what was an amazing area to host a graduation dinner for family and friends. This private, elegant area would also make a great space for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc. I was obsessed and we were so so lucky to have exceptional service for a short-notice event. “We chose Beef + Bourbon for our anniversary dinner yesterday. We made reservations ahead of time, and made a note with the reservation that it was our anniversary dinner. I'll get my disappointment over with first and move on to all of good. I wasn't happy with where we were seated. For whatever reason, we were stuck in the bar area. Our view to the left was the parking lot. The view to the right was the bar, which came with its own set of noise. And since we were on a main pathway, it was hard to have any conversation with the traffic and noise passing by every few minutes. I think I was expecting to sit in the beautiful other spaces they have available with dim lighting and a more romantic vibe, especially for an anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely mind blowing. Everything we had was cooked with so much thought and care. The beef medallion and crab cake appetizers really set the stage for the main course, which consisted of ribeye for both of us. Absolutely the best steak I've ever had. Tender, juicy, seasoned to perfection. My husband enjoyed asparagus with hollandaise as a side. I enjoyed a salad. Everything we devoured was absolutely top notch. Our waiter was awesome, Travis. He definitely took care of us as far as service. Very nice gentleman. I would give the food a 10000/10. I hope to be able to go back and give the ambiance another try. My fault for not speaking up while there or having the wrong set of expectations.“

“It was an amazing experience! The server/bartender I think his name was fingers & he was so personable and made it a memorable experience for my mom’s birthday! The duck wontons are TO DIE FOR & that phoenix pizza is 🔥 ! The only complaint I have is the salad tasted like dirt you could tell the romaine wasn’t washed well or something cause I couldn’t get passed the overwhelming earthiness of my garlic salad . All the drinks were amazing & if I had to recommend just one it would definitely be the nerds martini! I will be back and I would definitely recommend this place for any birthday , anniversary or just a nice dinner! Don’t forget get a piece for that homemade cheesecake either 🫣“

My bartender/server Aleah was Awesome, energetic, polite, efficient and handled the pressures of a busy Christmas rush with ease! “The Family Restaurant is a go to for my wife and I. They have incredible food with staff that is always friendly and ready to serve. There is a small discount for paying with cash. They serve any food all day.

“I like to order Belgian Waffles on Sunday, with a side of scrambled eggs! It normally comes with meat. They have been great about letting me switch that out tho. The price of eggs may have been the one thing that has come down 🙂 I call in my order, and pick up in 15 minutes. I really like that there is one in Bettendorf now! Don’t have to wait 30-45 minutes to get in. The menu has a great variety. They have crepes! I used to go to a place in Chicago with my Mom and sister, 30 years ago; called Magic Pan- their specialty was crepes! Yum! I love this place!“

“I was at the bar when the incident occurred with the customer vaping. Owner asked him politely to please not vape. The customer was unnecessarily offended even though there were signs stating no smoking or vaping. Riverside is very friendly and welcoming- veterans included. Great food, great staff!“

After being served the best breakfast, by the friendly staff, I was surprised this place wasn't packed for breakfast. It's got a great atmosphere and wonderful staff and good, hot food. “Wow!!! This Culver’s has historically been quite bad with regards to service. We went there tonight and it’s like a new store. They had iPads that they were taking orders on and we pulled up to wait for our food and it was brought out in less than 5 minutes, they didn’t forget anything and they brought out the ice cream with the hot food. We have always loved the food but the service has been a big deterrent. I’m glad to see they are working on making it better.“
