“You get exactly what you expect, which has some nostalgia attached to it. While we frequent more traditional Mexican restaurants usually, we had to visit Rudy's. I hadn't been to one in over 20 years. Very friendly wait staff!“
“Food was great - that's what my husband wanted for his Veterans Day supper! They must do mostly drive through business-- we were the only people inside. Restaurant was freezing cold, awful music on radio was loud, and aside from taking our order, we were ignored.“
“Jose’s fajitas meal was amazing!! It’s not on the menu as it is a specialty item so ask for it. It was everything he described and then some. The staff was kind which made for a pleasant experience. Would absolutely recommend this place.“
“Great quality food. Not a lot of gluten free options. Even the chips are flour? At least we were told that they were. We asked an employee and they said they didn't know and never came back . Sort of like eating in a school cafeteria. Also they close at 8pm and that seems really early. I would go back for the food but maybe take it to go lol“
“Our first time there and not knowing anything about this restaurant we showed up at 4:45 on Saturday. The server sat us pretty quickly in the very front corner booth. We were thankful to have a booth. They were busy. The menu had so many choices. The food was great and large portions. Our server sat us and told us she wouldn’t forget about us. I’m here to tell you she was the wonderful. She was so pleasant, always showed up at the right time, and knowledgeable of the menu. If you go ask for Tina. Well Done“
“My first time eating here last night and I must say the absolute best Mexican food I have had in the entire quad cities!!! Service was outstanding and the atmosphere was super relaxed. Very nice experience and definitely will be a repeat customer!!“
“We came all the way from Dallas Texas. This place is well worth it. From the customer service to the food. Everything came out so quick and food was delicious. Our waiter Emanuel and I believe the manager made sure we were taken care of at all times.“
“Awesome food, with a hefty portion for the money. Including, a relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff.I would recommend anyone to eat here.Kid-friendliness: Very polite and down to earth waitresses, who asked, periodically, if my friends and myself needed anything.“
“I've ordered food from them many times via door dash but I finally got a chance to dine in and it was wonderful! Our server was so kind and helpful and the food was on point. Generous portions and amazing flavor. Love this little spot. Will definitely be back and also order again...and again...and again!“
“This is our go to Mexican restaurant to get take out or eat in. Always great. Grandkids loved it I love it. My husband loves it. Skip the others. Quite inexpensive yet excellent service and product. Love the chicken enchiladas. We had out of town guests, and they loved the food, too.“
“This place is always busy, and with good reason - it's popular because the food is great, and so is the service. I usually have the cheese enchiladas or the street steak tacos, because they're both very good -- but this time I decided to try something new, and had the enchiladas del mar. They were stuffed with shrimp and covered with a tasty and smooth cheese sauce. They came with a mushroom quesadilla on the side -- it was absolutely scrumptious, and I was almost sorry that I wolfed down the enchiladas because I couldn't finish the quesadilla. My husband had a chicken quesadilla and a margarita, and he reported that both were very good. Our waiter was extremely attentive and brought things to us very quickly. Always a great meal. The only downside side is that parking can be a challenge.“
“Las Salsas has some of the best tacos around. The service is quick and friendly. Try the Quesabirrias. It's not on their dine in menu but it is on their Grubhub menu. I consider it a secret menu item. You will find quesabirrias on very few Mexican restaurant menus. They are a cross between tacos and quesadillas, tasty and filling.“
“The store is fantastic. Great fresh produce, an incredible meat counter, real good prices and friendly helpful staff. The restaurant is so good. The food is wonderful with really large portions, there's a great selection of drinks and the staff is so sweet.“
“It's a small building that I'm pretty sure a car ran into, few tables and hard metal chairs... with some of the best food I've had reminds me of my Hispanic step moms cooking, the elote was superb and the El pastor tacos were devoured with gusto. Great bunch of ladies working there definitely will be back for the “
“I LUV LUV LUV THIS PLACE THEY KNOW WHAT WE WANT EVERYTIME WE COME IN THE FOOD IS AMAZING THE HOSPITALITY IS RITE ON THE MONEY.. WAS SAD WHEN THEY WERE CLOS3D FOR THE HOLIDAYS BUT WE ALL NEED A BREAK SOMETIMES... AGAIN I WILL ALWAYS COME HERE BEST FOOD “
“I love this restaurant a lot of people don’t pay it attention but I’m here to say you’re missing out the food is great the staff is polite and fun you can tell they enjoy being there it’s a clean and welcoming for the whole familyKid-friendliness: Kid shows playing on the tv and kids options on the menuWheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is easily accessible“
“We definitely went on a busy day and I know the ladies did the best they could. I just wish our group of 12 could have been served at the same time. My table was done eating before our other table even got their food. And I'd never tried corn in a cup and was excited to try with all I'd heard. Never got it. Food was really good though.Parking: Busy street with minimal parking with a small parking lot.“
“Travel for work and I can say they are top 2 in my book for chili rellenos!! Also took a bite of my mom’s chimichanga and it was also great! I will be sure to make it my dinner spot after work! Waitress and host were really nice and the inside is nice as well!“
“The family whom work together and make such a great team, has created a very genuine wholesome restaurant in my opinion from my very first visit. The steak burrito I had felt like I was a guest at their home, not only the individuals whom were beyond nice but the authenticity of this food was amazing. Large portions and very very noticeable quality in the meals. Not to mention the price point was no issue at all for the amount of hospitality and food I received. Very clean and I recommend this place. Needless to say I don’t want to go back to work…“
“I got the steak and shrimp burrito GTO which is a burrito that's wrapped in bacon and cheese. The steak was very tender and flavorful. There wasn't a lot of shrimp. I really liked the bacon and cheese that the burrito was wrapped in. It was an interesting twist to a normal burrito. The burrito was a little pricey at $21 but it did feed me for 2 meals. I would get it again.“
“A small restaurant in a strip mall behind the McDonald's off of 53rd ave in bettendorf. Go up to the counter and place your order for either an actual burrito or just a bowl. Two choices of rice, 4 different choices of proteins, and then various options for toppings including jalapeños.“
“Ganzo's catered a great meal for a summer neighborhood party we were hosting. Showed up on time, with all of the necessary supplies. Everyone was talking about how great the food was, and we had more than enough! Great food at a great value!“
“Genuinely the best tacos I’ve ever had! Every time my fiancé and I come back to town we make it a point to come to Los Primos, the food is fantastic and the service is so great! If you want authentic, delicious tacos, this is the definitely the place :)“
“We had an amazing experience at Los Portales Mexican Restaurant! The mixed fajitas were incredibly flavorful, and my wife loved the chicken and rice dish. We also enjoyed the chips with chipotle queso, which were deliciously addictive. The food was top-notch, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back for more!“
“I've been here many times & they do have good food, but they have no compassion for handicap or disabled people, the cashier saw a disabled person & told him that he still has to wait in line behind all the people even if he was old & disabled!!!“
“La Rancherita 2 is a great choice for Mexican food in the Quad Cities. Their menu is a good mix of authentic Mexican dishes and standard Mexican-American fare. They offer something for everyone at a reasonable price point and the service is always welcoming and friendly. Overall, I feel that the ambiance and service at this location is superior to that of their original restaurant, La Rancherita in Rock Island. The ambiance is more like a fast casual restaurant and less like a taqueria. It also has a better parking lot and the food is equally delicious, if not better. The steak burrito is my go-to. It's a a winner for lunch or dinner! A super-sized flour tortilla filled with thinly sliced steak that is tender and well-seasoned, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. Dine-in or takeout, it's consistently delicious and filling! From an operational standpoint, they have a couple of quirks to be aware of. First of all, it's cash only. They have an ATM in case you're not prepared. Secondly, the waitress will not bring your check to the table. It is awaiting your arrival at the cashier. This makes tipping the proper amount somewhat problematic unless you keep a running tally or like returning to the table to leave a tip. On the other hand, if it's your treat, it makes it convenient to discretely settle the tab and tip afterwards.“
“Great food. They have options like guisado which is an amazing soup that you probably won't find anywhere else locally. Their tacos are superb. Love that they offer empanadas. Absolutely my favorite Mexican food.Parking: Parking seems fine, although at busy times you might need to use a pickup spot (sorry!) as they have like 5 of those for some reason.“
“My husband and I ordered food from Martinez Meat Market for our wedding in December of 2022. The owners were wonderful to work with and the food was incredible! All of our guests were asking where we got the food from and if they could take home any leftovers. Would highly recommend them for any event you are looking to cater or even if you are looking to support a local business for your grocery needs!“
“After calling 4 taco restaurants who all only took cash I found this gem. And it must’ve been meant to be . Effing delicious !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldve tok a pic but I inhaled them so quick I forgot. Perfectly seasoned. Tacos stuffed fully . Friendly staff and they were on time for my pick up order ! Had the steak street tacos and the chicken tacos. Even the beans and rice were fireeeee!!!! I will 100 percent be back weekly for my Taco Tuesday tradition ! Thank you guys for making my day amazing“
“The La Flama team is great. My family and I love their food. I'm blessed that the food truck is in my work's parking lot during the summer. So when I was throwing my wife a birthday party I knew who I wanted to cater it, La Flama!!! Everyone loved the nachos. They delivered it and everything was tasty, like normal. Thanks for making the whole process easy and being so friendly. Great food, great service, owned and operated by a great local family. What more could you want?“
“This was a spur of the moment food adventure. Quinine from Chihuahua, Mexico. I jjHad a seafood tostada that was scrumptious. My son had enchiladas that were subtly but deliciously seasoned. We'd never been in this restaurant but will be returning. Best meal in months. A pleasure to eat and the owners were very congenial.“
“The food was fresh, and the quality of their steak tacos was just as good as any I experienced in Chicago. Two meals to go were almost $30 so I would suggest going on a day with a special but the price wouldn't keep me from going back. Quite surprised by this little gem in “
