“Food was amazing. Some of the best cheese curds I have ever had. The burger was fantastic, they put the toppings on the side so you can dress it yourself. The fries were great. The Mac and cheese was good but a little thick, but that might be a personal preference. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we were not greeted and it wasn't clear if we were supposed to seat ourselves. It took a few to get waited on but the server was great after that.“

“HA. I can't believe I haven't already reviewed Wake Brewing, my favorite brewery in the Quad Cities. They make solid beers across the styles and I've received great, and unpretentious (but knowledgeable when asked) service from over a dozen bartenders over the years. I especially love their hazies and stouts, but love their lagers when that's what I'm in the mood for. Their new new Sunday special that includes a Bloody and a sizable sidecar for a paltry $5 is the best quality Sunday drink deal I know in the Midwest. Pair the Bloody with their Masa of Puppets corn lager for an amazing combo recommended by the last bartender I visited with. Pet friendly on their patio, no everyday food option but you can BYOF. Don't change a thing Wake!“

“We are in town for a soccer tournament and wanted a good pizza. Found this place on Google, and would be a regular if we lived here. Chicken bacon ranch pizza was literally the best pizza I’ve ever had- and I live in an Italian neighborhood! They have games to play while you wait. Fun and friendly. Excellent service!“
“We recently had a "private party" at Adventurous to celebrate a retirement. We have been coming to Adventurous since the taproom was opened. The vibe is amazing and the staff is fantastic. Jami was so great to work with in getting the party scheduled and figuring out how we wanted to set things up to the beer. The communication was excellent and we felt so comfortable that the day would be just we wanted it to be. The day was perfect (we drove over 2 hours as well as did all of those invited to join us) and cannot say enough about Jami and team at Adventurous.“

“I'm an early bird, so I can't speak on the late night crowd. One of the bartenders, Bill, is a great guy to conversate with. That's why I go to bars, to talk to people. He doesn't disappoint.
The place is clean and tidy. The entrance is easy to miss. I'm not stingy, find it yourself, it's a great nook!!“
