“We moved to the Quad cities recently and couldn't really find a Chinese restaurant that satisfied or cravings until we came here! The egg rolls and low mein here rival some of my top all-time favorites. The General Tso's and Sesame chicken were excellent. The steam dumplings were good, particularly with the sauce it's served with. I docked one service star because we weren't offered any sauce and I didn't think to ask for sweet-and-sour sauce for the egg rolls since they usually come with it based on my experience from other restaurants. I look forward to trying out some of my other favorites like Szechuan chicken and Mongolian beef in future visits!“

“We love HuHot and have been customers for years. But the Davenport location has been declining recently. Today they sat us at a dirty table. Told them we didn't need rice and they brought it anyway. Had to ask for silverware. The food stations were a mess with food everywhere including all over the floor. The person refilling food was not wearing gloves and using her hands to rake food out of the containers. The grill was good but just overall it feels like it is losing some cleanliness and personality.“

The chicken fried rice is nicely seasoned and plentiful. China Cafe is a great, affordable, non-corporate-chain sot to get good food.“

“Tried somewhere new today, which is always nerve wracking! But omg I was blown away, service was so friendly, smells coming from the kitchen were amazing, and when I opened up my food containers I was blown away. Large portions and absolutely delicious food. I can’t wait to come back and try more things off the menu! We tried the sesame chicken, roasted pork fried rice, chicken lo mien, and the friend chicken wings, they absolutely did not miss a beat on anything. No pictures unfortunately because we had to dig in right away lol.“
