“My wife and I moved out of Davenport years ago, but throughout the years, we always reminisce, "Hey, remember New China? How we'd eat there every other week and how delicious AND inexpensive it was?" We always wish there was a restaurant like this local to us nowadays, but it's a pipe dream. New China is one of a kind.My wife and I recently visited the QC area and stopped by to grab a bite here out of nostalgia. Prices are still super agreeable. Food quality is 110%. The family that opened and worked it are still there (it was crazy seeing the son all grown up!).This restaurant is one in a billion. My wife got her regular order, as did I, and I'm bittersweetly eating my leftovers as I write this. I hope this restaurant sticks around for years to come, and I pray nothing but good things happen to the family who run it. Thank you guys for all the incredible meals over the years! We're sure to order again when we're next in the area.“
“8 of us for lunch today and our food was served, promptly, correctly, and HOT! Everything was fresh and delicious .. Because of Covid, it had been awhile since we enjoyed lunch there and even though there was no buffet, the food was excellent and plenty of it…The best soups, ever, and the wontons were perfect…great service, as always.“
“The food is always amazing and this location has the best management. The manager Austin at this location is amazing. His customer service skills are top notch and Mongolian grill is lucky to have this man working for them. Austin thank you for your kindness and hospitality.“
“I've come here twice now, and both times have always been consistent. If you don't know what mongolian barbecue is, it's when you get a bowl and put whatever you want in it (noodles, meat, veggies, sauces) and they grill it on a large surface. In a way, it's kind of like hibachi, but not really. There is also an option for an AYCE, but also just a single bowl too. A small one costs around $10.50 and the larger one costs around $11ish (might be wrong). You can also order a side of rice and/or soup which is now extra. In all honesty, I think the bowl itself is enough, but the rice and also help lessen the saltiness. The reason I gave this place a 4 star is because the ingredient bar could be more stocked up. There wasn't a lot of beef, and I was stuck with crumbs, and even though I could've waited I had come with 10 other people and didn't want to hold up the line. Other than that, it's an amazing experience and a nice meal especially for the cold.“
“I've tried chinese food several places in Davenport and this spot had the best tasting and hottest freshest food (food wasnt like 3 day old jerky chicken) I love Chinese and if u want ur Chinese food to taste right and not be old and jerkyfied this is where I'd go if I were u.“
“The delivery is pretty simple and I love it. There have been rarely any issues and if there was, you can call them and they will fix it quick and easy. But, I doubt there will be any issues. This is my first time ordering delivery so it’s been a pleasant experience! Phone calls and ordering when you walk in are great options too.Vegetarian options: You can modify multiple meals to turn them into vegetable dishes. If you would like a veggie only dish, you can request to have tofu instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: They can make it gluten free, remove ingredients, substitute ingredients and more.Parking: It is a public parking space with tons of space even when it is busy.“
“Very good food, with a good number of choices. From chicken and broccoli to steamed seafood and rice you won't be disappointed. The dining room is small but clean and orderly. Call ahead for carryout seems to be the focus of this business, but the four of us ate and enjoyed for about ten dollars per person. It's worth a try!“
