Always a great experience. I'm allergic to cow dairy and I always get the double garlic burger combo and they always make it the way I order it. They're always friendly and the place is always clean.
Fries had a few fries, maybe 15, that were over two inches long, most were not over 1 1/2 in. The 4 tables we looked at were not wiped clean, we chose the cleanest. Restroom was just unclean, urinal was crusted yellow. Good bye Steak and Shake nice knowing you. It is that you are not the only one on the block.

Everything was self serve. You placed your own order on a kiosk (which it asked for a tip) got your own drinks/condiments and whatever and then they called your name when your order was ready and you walked up to the counter to pick up your own food. It really wasn’t the sit down establishment I remember. Not sure what the tip was for.
