We pulled up to order a banana split and the young girl said they could not make them right now. We asked why and she said they didn't have any bananas. I told her we could see a bunch of bananas in the window and asked why they couldn't use those? She paused and then explained they were for smoothies in case anyone wanted a smoothie. These people at this location don't care. Period
Guess they won't let me rate this place Zero stars. Showed up at 8:00 on a Saturday night. Couldn't go in because the doors were locked. Wow! Where do families go for ice cream on a Saturday night? Had to go through the drive-thru and got behind a bunch of pedestrians who were also using the drive-thru window. Ordered 1 chocolate malt & 1 vanilla milk shake. Was told they were out of vanilla. Really? That's like Colonel Sanders running out of chicken. Changed the order to 1 chocolate...read full review

They are always beautiful and delicious. They are very moist and not overly sweet. I also love the tres leches with flan cake. I will say that I feel that they are on the pricier side compared to the other bakeries in Mundelein but I think it’s worth it.
