Accidentally discovered Oak Trail Taphouse today and I'll definitely return. Double Smash burger and fries! Perfection! Friendly and attentive staff. Service was quick, atmosphere relaxing and not rushed. Can't wait to try more menu items. Great place in downtown Mundelein!
Had read that the burgers were great so came in with high expectations.. and, yessiree they were. Smashed and cooked perfectly, with perfectly cooked fries and a garlic aioli that was amazing! O, and we randomly asked if they had chipotle mayo… and they did!!! Service was 5 stars as well. Will return.
We came as out of towners from Texas and loved it here. They have good tequila and mezcal drinks (hard to find around here). The beer selection on tap was excellent as well. The bartenders were really friendly and it felt like a good atmosphere.
