17th Street and Mike is a huge reason why I stepped out to start my own. He was a great man and all the people who work there are great. Without 17th Street, Southern Illinois wouldn't be known for their BBQ. Thanks for putting us on the map and inspiring all of us who want to become a BBQ staple in our communities. Your bbq nachos are my favorite thing to eat there.
Brisket was dry and probably from yesterday. Wings were okay but needed to cook longer. Service was sloooooow and took forever to get cashed out. Expected more from competition bbq
Used to be a great place. The food is not as good as it was a few years ago. Portions are smaller and just doesn’t seem like the caliber of food it once was. Definitively wouldn’t recommend. Try Pat’s
