17th Street and Mike is a huge reason why I stepped out to start my own. He was a great man and all the people who work there are great. Without 17th Street, Southern Illinois wouldn't be known for their BBQ. Thanks for putting us on the map and inspiring all of us who want to become a BBQ staple in our communities. Your bbq nachos are my favorite thing to eat there.
I just picked up a large order for a gathering and received the best service! I arrived early and it quickly felt like I was visiting with friends/family. They made sure that I had everything I needed from a beer while I waited to sauce for our BBQ, everything was covered! Thanks for making this a great experience.
Side note, I was able to have a draft beer from Scratch Brewery (also local) and take a growler to go! 🍺 🐷

Who would’ve thought in the middle of nowhere sits a barbecue restaurant that’s better than almost every one I’ve tried! 10/10!!!
