My husband and I walked in and we were not greeted by a single employee, not even when we approached the counter to look at their coffee menu. There is no direction whatsoever as to how the flow of the bistro is to function.
We walked around and tried to figure out where the starting point was. We could not figure it out. It was like anyone could walk in and take whatever pastry and walk out without paying. Or someone could walk in with a darker intent since no one was really paying attention to the food or the door.
There was also no seating and those seating were sitting on top of one another. It felt very closterphobic. There was outdoor seating, however it was raining. Seating might have been better if the weather would have been nicer.
We've heard good things about their coffee; we are just disappointed no one was available to help us or could be bothered to explain the concept to us.
We had to rely on our marriage code of hand signals, looks, and motions to be able to communicate because of how loud the noise level was.
I'm never one to try a new restaurant by reading about it first. That takes the excitement out of exploring new restaurants in the area.
Maybe next time we are out that way we will try again and not on a Saturday morning.

Paris Bistro is my family's favorite restaurant in Naperville. The decor and music make for a very sweet atmosphere. And the staff are always wonderful, most recently our server Javier was so friendly and attentive. The food is great, our favorites are the Mona Lisa crepe and the cannoli crepe. The gelato is to die for!

My wife and I stopped by there on Saturday morning. We got two lattes, a creme de la creme crepe, and a souffle pancake. The waiter was really nice and let us know that the food would take a bit longer because the souffle needs some extra time. We didn’t think to snap any photos before digging in, so the one we have is from when we were already halfway through. The food was tasty and well-made, though it felt a little pricey. We figured that might be due to the vibe of the place.

Paris Bistro is a must -visit for anyone seeking a romantic dining experience. This beautiful French Bistro made us smile with the perfect music, decor, ambiance and delicious food. From the moment you check in to Paris Bistro to the moment you walk out, it’s delightful. Our server Becky made our experience fantastic with her knowledge and attentiveness and kindness, we really appreciated her heart. Thank you, Becky and we will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First & Last time going into this restaurant. Do not recommend, overly expensive prices for mediocre food. the Atmosphere is very fraudulent, bad vibes. Best thing we had gotten was the customer service, even then wasn't up to par. nothing is made special here.
We waited about an hour for our food. Breakfast is definitely not there specialty, waited 35 minutes for Coffee (Caramel Latte) they also charge $2 FOR FLAVORING? Mimosas are made cheap. Crepes were served Cold , they claimed it to be “colossal 18’. they weren’t. The pancake soufflés taste like straight egg whites. Also the manager was a creep and seems to have a staring problem toward young women.
The food overall is not what they claim to be. it is not made authentically or with any care. I give this place a 4/10. only because I feel bad for the staff.

2 hours and no dinner. The absolute worst dining experience of my life. Horrible management who bombed one of the most important dinner days of the year. When we arrived for our reservation, they had everyone in a line going out the front door instead of having people check in and wait in the bar/lounge area. They sat random people before those who had been waiting with a reservation. The poor teenage girl was deep in over her head. She was very confused and didn’t know how to handle the situation, and the management/ownership gave her zero support. While we waited at the bar for our table, we were also completely ignored as they had one young guy making the drinks for the entire restaurant. He was scrambling and had over 15 drink tickets waiting to be made, so he had to ignore those sitting at the bar. Once we finally got a seat, it wasn’t any better. The kitchen was incredibly far behind, and after being at this place just under 2 hours, we finally got our appraiser. Being concerned about how long it would take for the main course, I asked the waitress, and she had zero clue. She said she would send the owner over, who never ended up showing up to talk to me. About 15 minutes later, she brought out one plate of the two ordered and told us we could share it while we waited for the other. I have never had a restaurant tell me to share my $50 dinner plate with the person I was with. At that point, I was done, and we went somewhere else for our dinner. By far, the worst managed restaurant I have ever been to. The management is an absolute joke for understaffing this place the way they did.

we waited for our order for more than 2 hours, the people who were sitting next to us also waited for more than 2 hours, they didn't even bring us a drink menu, they only brought it to us after 20 minutes, I'm outraged, the restaurant seems good but the service is bad

I’ve come here 3 different times and each time my experience got worse. I really wanted to like this place, because it has a special quality about it & I see the potential, but the kitchen is constantly missing the mark.
During my first visit, the food was bland. I had ordered a savory crepe that tasted subpar to any crepe I’ve ever had.
The second visit, I ordered the viral giant croissants. I asked the waiter which flavors were available & he replied “all of them”. After our meal, I placed a to go order for one of each flavor, but was told they only had 3 flavors available. Once I got home I passed out the croissants to my family members to try and everyone had a “meh” expression on their faces. So I tasted one and the croissant was so dry and hard. (I drove straight home)
During my third & final visit with a friend, I ordered the soufflé pancakes that are supposed to be light, fluffy, & jiggly. I received 3 flat pancakes. I looked at the waitress as she placed my plate in front of me with disbelief. I showed her a picture from their own website of what they should look like and she agreed and took them back. My friend’s steak was waaaaay overcooked and they took that back as well and apologized for everything. The manager came out & said the kitchen accidentally used gluten free flour & that’s why the soufflé pancakes wouldn’t rise. But they served it anyway? Weird.
THEN they brought me a steak taretar & the meat was BROWN instead of red. The waitress apologized for that as well & took it away. At that point I was done. They kindly removed my plates from the bill & gave us a free mimosa to make it up to us. So at the end of it all I had an empty belly but a nice buzz! Until they get new kitchen management, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
There were little gnats flying around our booth.
