“We went here yesterday after the sports card convention at ISU with no idea what to expect, we just all agreed that we wanted a good, local pizza that we could not get back home. All of us on the trip agreed that this place was OFF THE CHARTS EXCELLENT FOOD. The atmosphere of the restaurant was kind, friendly, prompt, well-cleaned, and cosy. While I may get this wrong, the pizza to me was like a premium quality, perhaps modified blend of an artisinal with ultra fresh, ultra high-quality ingredients with everything someone would love about a Detroit style. I am a "pizza guy" and I am talking like top 5 lifetime pizza places for me. Definitely my favorite new pie that I have tried out over the last several years!😀 I will have to find a convenient excuse to get back to the area from 3 hours away soon just so I can visit again! Thanks for a great meal and outstanding service!“

“We enjoy Papa Murphy's Take - and - Bake Pizza every time we visit our daughter's family in Sandy Utah. The 10.99 Large 2 topping on TUESDAYS is a big hit with my 2 grandsons. Their ALL Veg is Wonderful, you just need to cook about 3 minutes extra to crisp the crust. I wish the Joliet IL area had many stores. My favorite Pizza is Aurelio's in Joliet on West Jefferson St.“

“This place is like half gas station and half MOD pizza. You can either order your own pizza fresh, or you can browse the many candies and soft drinks they have to offer on the shelves as well as a freezer with ice cream items and a bakery shelf with muffins and sandwiches. Interesting place! Pizza is about average, but keep in mind you can use student flex dollars here!“

“I like the ingredients and taste. The only issue is the cooking method. If they got rid of the belt driven oven and got a wood fired brick oven the pizza would be a 9/10 for the area.

“Wish I got the gentleman's name. He was very helpful with me and my granddaughter. In the early morning The hot chocolate wasn't working. He came right around and refilled. Then made sure we got what we needed! I have had very bad experience there in the past when visiting. So glad they are getting good help! Thank you 😊“

“worst pizza I have ever eaten!! dry crust. no seasoning. sauce was aweful. stopped because joes station house in pontiac and streator are staples. what a huge mistake!! server was pleasant. however, strange to see a swap of delivery pizza boxes with another pizza joint. 0 out of 10 oh and the BBQ chicken pizza came odd shaped like it had been dropped 😳“

“The other store basically told me they wouldn't deliver to my area so near to close and this location gratefully obliged even though it's out of their delivery area. On another occasion I placed an order online with the Bloomington location (with cash payment thankfully) and the pizza never even came..“

“I went to ISU in the 1970's, and Avanti's was always a favorite part of our years on campus. Fifty+ years later, it's always a treat to visit this restaurant and consume their delicious food. Walking into Avanti's is like going back in time to my college days with my friends! Love this place!“
