I don't care, I like sushi pirate. Yes the ambiance is lackluster to say the least, it's never very crowded when I come here to eat. It's like a hole in the wall restaurant, but for sushi. Table of 4 shared shrimp fried rice, and each ordered something else. It was the best fried rice I have ever eaten! It's definitely worthy of being its own entree. I had tonkatsu udon. It was quite excellent. My husband truly loved the Godzilla roll. He also had a standard California roll, which was also excellent. The couple we were with each finished a bowl of miso soup happily.
