Wendy's in North Chicago always has hot fries and food. I know people are like, yeah, hot food, but their fries and sandwiches don't get cold as you eat them because they are fresh and hot. So thanks for that Wendy's!
This Wendy's location is a hit or a miss. Today it was decent but only because I went inside. The drive thru long was super long, maybe lunch time rush. I decided to go inside and I was in and out a lot quicker than I expected or if I had waited in the drive thru. The worker took my order right when I walked up to the counter and went back to help in the kitchen. They have been short staffed lately. The food was decent, fries were hot. Decided to eat here when visiting our son for his graduation at RTC Great Lakes. The food was hot and fresh and the staff were accommodating. The atmosphere was good, but they could have cleaned up a bit. The real issue was the cost. These places will price themselves into closing, as people will refuse to pay for takeout as if it were a fancy restaurant.
