“Finally!! Ever since I returned from living in Italy, I have been looking all over Chicago for authentic Italian pizza and bread. I had some bread, a slice of pizza, a daily special calzone and an espresso. It was perfection 🤌 A slice of Italy in Lincoln Square Chicago

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“My go-to coffee is from the Little Creperie. I used to be a starbucks drinker, and now I can’t ever go back to it after tasting the quality of Little Creperie’s coffees. My absolute favorites are the Honey Lavender Latte, Pistachio Creme Latte, and Mocha. Not only do the coffees taste amazing, but the presentation is so cute!!“

“I usually come here once a week when I work from home. I live a block down, so this is a very convenient place. I sometimes get a sandwich or empanada or an iced coffee. But, what I get every
time is their deserts. Frankly, I do not have a sweet tooth, but this place is the exception for that. I always get their tres leches cake and that is my least favorite desert usually, so this is saying something. They had a horchata tres leches cake last year that was SO GOOD and I'm really hoping that comes back soon. They also have different types of cheesecakes (which is my fav desert) so I've tried those too. They usually switch them around, so depending on when you go, they may have them or not. I've tried the Oreo and Reese's Pieces, which were good, but they had a lemon meringue cheesecake and man.... sooooo gooooood. Haven't seen it there in a few weeks, so I'm hoping it makes a comeback soon. I've only eaten in there a couple of times and it's a good vibe. Staff is super friendly and I don't have anything to complain about.“

The atmosphere was very nice and calm, the smells were divine, and the service was excellent! We got to chat with the owner for a second and she was absolutely darling! I had a strawberry matcha latte with brown sugar boba and I know in a week I’ll be craving it again. 10/10 will be coming back again!“

“It’s cute little coffee shop on a great spot on the corner. It has a small menu of the classic coffee options like latte and cortado, and they have 3 syrup options of lavender, vanilla, or mocha (nope, no caramel!). I forget how small the 8oz is it fits so cutely in my hand but it was a good amount of coffee for my walk home. A bit higher prices but it’s a small business supporting our community! Plenty of seating and space to study, work, or chill!“

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. Everyone asks for Alisha's cakes for their birthdays. The cake is dense and rich so we usually serve smaller slices (but people will go back for seconds).“
