“This restaurant has the best rose tteokbokki I've ever had! The bulgogi and ramen are also delicious! The staff is very patient and will guide you through your menu selections. If you don't like your food too spicy, they will also adjust it to your liking. Very cute spot. Wonderful for date night.“

“Had a reservation and they sat us fairly close to time. We had to ask for a server after about another 5-10 minutes of sitting and waiting. Food was good, but came out staggered. The actual frustration came mostly when we were sitting around after the meal and all the dishes were left at our table for about 10 to 20 minutes, nobody picked them up. Food was good and portions were decent.“

“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

“Unassuming little place. The food is ok. The broken rice with beef was pretty good. The doing rolls were hard since the skin dried out .

The sauces are just a bit off but ingredients were fresh.

“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. “Just stopped in for an early lunch, the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and the place was super clean. It will be our new favorite place for a quick fresh meal.“

“The chicken is so good! There is seating, but when we were there, it was crowded and noisy with kids running around. The chairs aren't comfortable either. But the chicken! It was very flavorful and excellent. Kind of elevated fast food. We'll go back for the chicken legs and try new dishes but will probably do carry out instead of eating in.“

“Delicious, flavorful & healthy food at a reasonable price. I got a bowl with purple rice, kale, broccoli, carrots, pickled onions, kimchi and Korean BBQ beef. Tried teriyaki sauce on the side and it was tasty but the veggies are all so seasoned so well that sauce wasn’t necessary and the meat was also super flavorful and marinated. Highly recommend. They list all ingredients and calories as you’re ordering so you can stay mindful! Great place.“

The Pho is top notch, the Bahn Mi is great, kids Pho is fantastic(not on the menu so be sure to ask for it), and don't ever leave without getting the shrimp and pork spring rolls with peanut sauce, which is incredible. “Very happy that found this place has reopened. We used to come here for lunch and dinner, there is no other Asian restaurant in north shore we feel good to enter to eat. The menu with varieties and many Asian popularities dishes. Think this may be comparable from south Canal street China Town and the best one in the north shore neighborhood.

“Really good place! I was expecting generic Chinese but I was pleasantly surprised. I asked the owner if the egg foo young was made with real eggs, or eggs from a carton. He was kind of shocked at the notion he would use eggs from a carton and assured me it was made with fresh eggs and freshly-made vegetables, like he would not be caught dead doing it any other way. That gave me a good feeling about the place - he clearly had pride in what he does. We had a vegetarian and a celiac in the party and he was very understanding and respectful of their needs. We are picky eaters but were all very happy with our meals, which were really good. Big portions too!“

This was my first time dining in, and I was pleasantly surprised at how even fancier the presentation of the food is, compared to the casual aura of the dining area. I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .
Please try this place!
