“Three of us routinely indulge in breakfast at Diamond and are never disappointed with the great food and excellent service. Portions are substantial and made with top notch ingredients, served hot and fresh. Our favorite waitresses are Rachel and Teresa, but all the staff are good. I'm a huge fan of the pancakes, sausage and eggs combination, which is served at a bargain price including coffee on Tuesday and Thursday. Diamond also offers many lunch options.“

“Deanna Mark was so kind and a wonderful waitress. We enjoyed our food- all was delicious. Deanna was able to get my friend a new egg Benedict because the one he received was over cooked. We loved everything even the coffee was delicious“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“I am not notable, so my opinion may be of little consideration for most. This stated, the pancakes I've had here rival some of the best I have ever tasted. This is without mentioning the Chorizo, the eggs, and their choice of spices and peppers. The food here as of this date 6/30/26, is some of the best food I have had.“

“We had to get up early to bring our car in for servicing and decided to come to First Watch. We had been here in Orland Park two other times before… one was during their grand opening and it was not our favorite place to come to. Sometimes it really comes down to the server and we didn’t really like the service we had. We came back again when it was warmer outside and had a very pleasant experience. But today REEGAN was our server and she knocked it out of the park! I tried the Godfather Bowl and my husband had the Trifecta. I asked Reegan a lot of questions about their various bowl offerings, and she told me what she liked about each one. When she asked me what kind of eggs I wanted, and I said you know whatever works best. I didn’t really care, and she said I would recommend the scrambled eggs because a lot of people think the other ones are too runny with the other items that are in the bowl. She also told me if I didn’t like the scrambled eggs she would substitute something else after I tried them. The sauce that came with the Godfather Bowl is extremely hot. Just a dab is needed. The Italian sausage was grilled well and tasty. I liked the grits served with the dish. While we waited for our food, she brought out warm syrup for my husband‘s pancake and then some compote for him to put on it because he prefers jelly. We both got to-go-cups for our never-ending coffee, and I really liked the sipping spout on the cup. I’m impressed on how clean everything is at this location. I saw another server, clean off the salt and pepper, shakers, etc. off the tables because the restaurant had just basically opened and she was waiting on more customers. Pricing is more reasonable that several local breakfast spots in Orland Park. Next time we come in here, I’m gonna ask for REEGAN; you should too.“

“We love the potato pancakes, we’ve been coming here for years, open early. This place is on our “To Visit” restaurants as we have relocated to Orlando Florida, but we visit often and we always make a Chef Klaus visit. We highly recommend the potato pancakes & the eggs Benedict! Enjoy“

“Lumes is always a bomb and vibe from start to finish. They greet us as soon as we walk in and everyone is always friendly and pleasant. When seated we are asked if the space is to our liking and the server brings waters immediately. We go so much that we kind of already know what we want unless like Me, you wanna try something different. The avocado toast was very different. It was loaded with good stuff! The salmon was kinda like sushi so it taste like sushi avocado toast with a little side salad if that makes since and it was huge by the way so I enjoyed only one piece and was able to take the rest home 🙂 If you ever had the shrimp & grits you know it’s a hit! “Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat.

The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there.

I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up.

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. “This restaurant was kaddie corner to my Grandparents on Albany Ave. I went there when I was a boy in the 1970's...it was great back then. It says something that it is still around and still retains the Restaurant Neon sign on it. I would see that illuminated out my Gram's back window... Love it.“
