Everything was fresh, hot and tasty and the employees were polite and provided good service. My only complaint, the big ugly squeaky Styrofoam box my food was served in. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean.The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide.The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“

Upon turning into the parking lot we were greeted by the valet, which was very reasonably priced and the guys working were very pleasant. We were sat within 10 minutes in a corner table by the kitchen. Loved the open kitchen, the cooks on the line seemed locked in. The tall young lady in the braids, I assumed was the owner or manager that day was very polite and checked on us a few times. Our server, Daniesha was busy but never skipped a beat. She took our order in a reasonable time and made sure everything was good. NOW FOR THE FOOD: Of course we ordered the pot roast cupcake: it was delicious… the pot roast was flavorful and the cake was sweet which complimented the savory roast well. We ordered: Cajun Green tomatoes, the Oxtail palate with rice & gravy and Mac & Cheese, the Grilled Shrimp & Grits with a side of candied yams. The food came out piping hot, the portions were HUGE, and everything was well seasoned. Being from Louisiana I have high standards about food (TASTE in particular) and honestly everything was delicious. I was very pleased with the size of the oxtail. They were big, meaty pieces and the gravy was so good. My wife loved the flavor on the shrimp and grits and said the yams were some of the best she’s had. This last order was terrible.We ordered the beef fried rice with lemon pepper wings. They forgot to give us the wings. They weren't busy. We called, they said come on back and we will give you 12 wings (instead of the 8 which come with your order) to make up for our mistake. When we went back, they gave us the usual 8 wings, not the 12 they offered. So they made another mistake correcting their mistake.I'm done. We can no longer order their wings with barbecue sauce because even the MILD sauce is much too hot for us. When we asked them to hold the sauce, they said they cannot because their supplier puts the sauce on the wings, they don't do their own sauce. So we started ordering the lemon pepper wings instead. Our container of wings had some kind of liquid in the bottom of it that was laden with salt. Sort of a salt brine. The wings that were soaking it were inedible. Nobody uses that much salt.“

I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. “We arrived here after an overnight stay at the water park. My granddaughter had worked up an appetite and she wanted some Salmon. They didn’t have Salmon but they had catfish. We got a catfish dinner and a grilled wing dinner greens, yams, Mac and cheese. The catfish and greens were fantastic. She gave me a thumbs up, she ate two servings of greens and both fillets of catfish. I ordered the grilled wings but they wreaked of lighter fluid or chemicals, I was a bit disappointed, I ate the Mac and cheese and the yams and both corn breads but I am definitely going to sample it before I leave next time because I know they had to do know, if I’m not mistaken I think I saw the “grilled “ wings sitting in a gravy or something.
