“Fresh coffee!! None of that nasty burnt rubber tasting stuff you get from other places.
Service was exceptional, the waitresses were prompt and I was seated with no wait time.
Pricing was fair, especially for the portion sizes. The Irish plate will have you eating like royalty and is reasonably priced.
The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly done.
Definitely an Oak Lawn hidden gem.“

“Placed my order to be picked up by 2, I got my text that it was "ready". it wasn't, at least not my drinks. I was handed off my empty cups, to serve myself? one I could do, not the other....my coffee was suppose to have cinnamon syrup and an espresso shot, that's not at the beverage station, so i ask where do i get my extras(which i paid for) all I get is 😳 from young lady, manager or supervisor comes out but just fumbles, and as I walk out fuming mad.... he tells me I would like to see your receipt, did not ask while I had him beside me..... but decides to holler that as I walk out FU.... the only item that was for me I got ripped off paying all that, to just end up with a plain cup of coffee.“

“Was craving pancakes and just so happened to be in the area.
Always a peaceful atmosphere with friendly staff. Ordered the pancake combo with bacon and eggs. No complaints, it was all good. Was hoping to add a little fizz to my order but the soda machine was broken. I opted for a lemonade instead.
The cashier was high energy, full of personality and even cracked a few jokes.“

Portillo's is a Chicago institution for a reason! Their Italian beef is amazing - thinly sliced, flavorful, and perfectly dipped. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just the way I like it. Can't go wrong with their crinkle-cut fries either. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the wait times can be long. But hey, that's how you know it's good, right? The onion rings were crispy. I also ordered the cake shake, the spicy lemon cake shake. It was okay but the first time I got it it was pretty good. Other than that, my visit here was awesome.“
