“I had mixed feelings about my visit to Port of Peri Peri. The food was honestly excellent and full of flavor, so I have no complaints about the quality of the meal itself.

However, the customer service really let the experience down. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and when I asked questions, they either didn't respond properly or didn't seem interested in helping. The dining area also looked like it needed more attention—several tables were greasy and didn't appear to be cleaned promptly, which made eating in feel a bit unhygienic.

If you're planning to try this place, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in. “The chicken bowls are amazing and a good value. Most of our party were able to take leftovers for the next day. The sauce choices are incredibly flavorful, you can't go wrong. Personally I liked the mild spice, lemon pepper chicken thighs. The server was very helpful and courteous. Overall, a great choice for a meal while in Chicago.“
