Now back in Chicago, desparately searching for it here. If anyone knows what name this goes by elsewhere, please let me know. This place is 5 stars all the way! And we have some incredible Thai food in Chicago!“

“I have been coming here for years and Ruma Izakaya remains my favorite Japanese spot in the area. From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! “Perfect tapioca, perfectly soft and chewy and not hard in the middle! And they have a vast drink menu, something to please everyone. Made exactly to my specifications, sugar & even ice level. This place is a regular stop for me when I have a craving for Lavendar boba, this place is a winner 🏆 they even have a huge food menu“
“I placed an order right before closing N I was a little worried that it would be rushed or old. Let me tell you... My jumbo shrimp egg foo young was so good! I also got a banana and strawberry smoothie and it was delicious. The workers were very nice also. I will be returning very soon“

“My husband and I have been coming for years ! The sushi is fantastic and our server Tami is amazing!! We request her every time. She already knows our favorite items and is always there to help with a smile. PS The Tuna dumplings are a must have !“

“This place is such a wonderful dining spot for a girls’ night out! From the moment we walked in, our waitress greeted us with such genuine delight. She was warm, friendly, and set such a positive tone for the evening.
Then came Carlos, who completely elevated our experience. He was attentive, understanding, and incredibly talented. I can be pretty particular with food, and when I told him exactly how I like my salmon, he went above and beyond. The result was even better than I expected! The flavors were perfect, the presentation was beautiful, and his service was outstanding from start to finish.
Between the amazing food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the exceptional service from both our waitress and Carlos, we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. This spot is definitely a must-visit if you want great food and even greater service!“

“Food is fresh and excellent. I find it to be one of the best in the area. Non greasy, good flavor, service is ok, but when they attend to you, you have their undivided attention. I have been there a few times, and it does not vary. It is also very clean, with large tables and booths.“
