“​My recent visit to Lumes was absolutely phenomenal. I can't stop thinking about the Louisiana skillet—it was perfectly cooked, with all the flavors coming together beautifully. My companion's eggs, bacon, and hash browns meal was equally impressive; the eggs were done just right. What truly stood out, though, was the wonderful service. When we asked to swap out the regular toast for French toast, the staff handled it with a smile and zero complaints. This level of quality and customer care makes Lumes a true gem. If you're looking for a top-tier breakfast spot, this is it! I would give it 10 stars in a heartbeat.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Thank you guy so much. We will see you guys soon.“

“I had brunch here today with a friend, first time here. I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! Will definitely be back and plan to possibly go once a week with friends! 10 out of 10 recommend!“

“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat.

The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there.

I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up.

Honestly, that’s all I wanted. Good food, no hassle, and a calm start to the morning.“

“We love the potato pancakes, we’ve been coming here for years, open early. This place is on our “To Visit” restaurants as we have relocated to Orlando Florida, but we visit often and we always make a Chef Klaus visit. We highly recommend the potato pancakes & the eggs Benedict! Enjoy“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“I've been going to both joes on 51st. Both are usually good. It's still the best bang for your buck, however, today I has the ribeye med well Hashrowns with onion bell peppers and cheese with French toast and everything was a hit. I couldn't have ask for a better chef this morning to make my food. Thank you guys so much. Keep up the great work. Sorry I forgot to take pictures I will next time“

“Traditional breakfast joint with a weirdly expansive difficult menu. Fortunately they delivered on the basics.\n\nBreakfast Sampler - Two eggs any style with two slices of bacon, one sausage patty, one jumbo sausage link, hashbrowns, and choice of pancakes or toast was reasonably priced - hard to mess up the basic breakfast and they didn't. My wife enjoyed the Avocado Egg Bake consisting of two eggs in avocado halves served with hash-browns. This dish is more easily served with flaws--none here except it needed seasoning.“

“I come here once a week. I normally get 2 bowls of soup and my boyfriend gets 1 in addition to the other food we get. Today I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to get our soup to go. They wouldn’t sell us more than 2 cups of soup. Thats very irritating considering the fact we get 3 bowls every weekend. I can go down the street and get a whole quart of soup from another breakfast place. I will continue to come here because I love the food and service from Rachel but they need to step it up for sure. Sometimes they don’t even have soup.“

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. “The food was excellent! I started with the chicken lemon rice soup — it was a perfect 10/10.
My main dish was the chilaquiles verdes, which had just the right amount of spice (not too hot). The rice and beans were super tasty, and the avocado, sour cream, and over-easy eggs on top were a great touch.
Prices are very reasonable, the service was spot-on, and the place was super clean. We had a party of 6 and were seated comfortably at our table — plenty of room for everyone.
It’s a great family restaurant, perfect for breakfast or brunch. I’ll definitely be back!

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“
