“​My recent visit to Lumes was absolutely phenomenal. I can't stop thinking about the Louisiana skillet—it was perfectly cooked, with all the flavors coming together beautifully. My companion's eggs, bacon, and hash browns meal was equally impressive; the eggs were done just right. What truly stood out, though, was the wonderful service. When we asked to swap out the regular toast for French toast, the staff handled it with a smile and zero complaints. This level of quality and customer care makes Lumes a true gem. If you're looking for a top-tier breakfast spot, this is it! I would give it 10 stars in a heartbeat.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Thank you guy so much. We will see you guys soon.“

“I had brunch here today with a friend, first time here. I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! Will definitely be back and plan to possibly go once a week with friends! 10 out of 10 recommend!“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

It's still the best bang for your buck, however, today I has the ribeye med well Hashrowns with onion bell peppers and cheese with French toast and everything was a hit. “I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

“We just landed and were headed to the family they suggested this place as being reasonable with large portions and delicious eats. It's a no-thrills, older (outdated decor) clean place. This a neighborhood spot the kind you get up and run around the corner to grab a bite before you start your errands!

We were instantly seated at the table. The fall decorations that were up made it more comfortable. The waitress introduced herself as Lilianna H . Lilianna customer service was excellent and went along with her beautiful personality . ok, my husband ordered the steak skillet you guys when I tell you I take my head off to the Cook this steak Skillet was off the chain and well put together the presentation was beautiful the taste was lovely the cook put his love and all he had until that skillet. to the cook, my husband says you are well on point. I have a gluten intolerance and I dont miss the pancakes w the sourdough French toast option, or just plain sourdough toast. There strawberry jelly is delicious, fresh squeeze orange juice. “This restaurant was kaddie corner to my Grandparents on Albany Ave. I went there when I was a boy in the 1970's...it was great back then. It says something that it is still around and still retains the Restaurant Neon sign on it. I would see that illuminated out my Gram's back window... Love it.“
