“The staff is always friendly, the service is always fast, and the frozen custard is always delicious. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but it's never been too long for me. It is a little expensive when compared to grocery store ice cream, but it's a wonderful treat every once in a while.“

“One day I went and it was open hours but the open sign was not on but I thought they just forgot to turn it on so I tried to go in because it was open hours and there was no sign saying it was closed so I tried to go in but the doors were locked, but other than that it has great food and drink.“

“If you haven’t been here go! The Italian ice is delicious. Micro lemon peel in the Italian ice is definitely an authentic taste. The custard is delicious too! The staff is welcoming and so nice. My go to place for a cool treat’“

“OMG Betty ice cream is the very Best ice cream in Chicago. I been coming here for many years. The elderly husband and wife are so kind and wonderful service. Best prices and great large portions and please ask them to dipp your cone in frozen chocolate is incredible. Sometimes is big line but is worth your wait and bring cash. There old school elderly couple with no credit card. Only cash“

“There was a long line, but executed quickly and friendly. I got the rainbow cone in a waffle cone. Waffle cones are made fresh daily and adds to the flavor pairing of all 5 flavors of the rainbow 🌈 Definitely recommend to friends and family.“

“We absolutely love Tropical Sno and all the treats they have to offer! We usually get the sno but last night we got the Summertime Sand Bucket to share and my kids were OBSESSED. The owner Danielle is such a kind woman, tracking me down after I left my purse behind🤪 Her staff is always super friendly and I can’t say enough good things about them:)“
