“Very nice atmosphere. Our fish dishes were great! My Mrs had a chicken dish. One small piece of breast meat pounded thin with a few potatoes and some peas. It was not much of a serving at all, a bit dried out, and pretty pricey for this entree. The dessert service was just an assortment of shotglass-sized cheesecakes, etc. I'm not sure what we paid for them, but a shot glass-sized serving should pretty much be a gesture of thanks from the chef and the house. Drinks were good but again a bit pricey for the area.“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“It was our first time here, the place was packed, they had a HS fundraiser going on so there was a bit of a wait for our table (we didn't know this when we decided to come here.) Although the place was so so busy our server Erica, was on point & didn't miss a beat. S/O to her awesome service...The food was all very yummy too. We have already said we will be back, we really enjoyed the Caesar salad with Kale and the flat breads.“

“Had a great time here! Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the Brussel Sprouts, add the hot honey, a Fish and Chips with an upgrade side of truffle fries, and a Veggie burger. Beers on draft were great, and we had made it in time for happy hour pricing. Staff was attentive and very nice. The place is very spacious and on a upper level. There is an elevator for the handicap accessible, but make sure to ask for assistance!“

“Went it for a loaded Bloody Mary. It was great. The people seemed really friendly (employees and customers)
The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. I would love to see this place get an over haul because it was great potential with the nice staff and great customers. Very very very welcoming!!“

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“This spot is easily one of the best hotel bars around! The atmosphere is fantastic, but the real highlight was our bartender, Kelly. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! “I like this place-we came at 8:20 pm for a half hour or so of fun. Quick and simple. Ten minutes after arriving we were harassed about them closing at 8:50 pm. Website says 9. Literally reminded maybe ten times no exaggeration about them closing. We didn’t want to redeem tickets just play a few games. Very frustrating and ruined our short quick fun for my kid.“

“Did a staycation for NYE and had brunch at South Side Social. The mimosas weren't bad and the buffet was somewhat limited. I want to visit again because their lunch/dinner meal has some appeal. They provide the food for the bar and the pizza and Buffalo shrimp were very good! We had extra cheese on the pizza but it wasn't necessary as the toppings were hearty and tasty. No food pics this time but I do want to revisit.“

“What’s with the low reviews here??? Came with a group of 10 and the pizza was outstanding. We live in the city and think it goes toe to toe with the trending tavern style spots - Zarella, Pizzamici - honestly might even be better if it’s always as tasty as it was when we came in. Our server was very attentive as well. Please open a location in Chicago so we don’t have to drive so far!“

“It is a beautiful venue that I have had many champagne brunches at for the past 20 years. The food and service is great. I knock a star because the gratuity is gigantic. On top of that the waitress was demanding for a large cash only tip. I understand policies and working to provide for your family. What I don’t understand is since when are the workers allowed to think that they are entitled to your bank account?! When you act like that you don’t get any tip from me. Usually, I have exceptional service and tip. Maybe attitudes are why the gratuity is automatically sky high these days.“
