“Our experience here was a little disappointing. The dining room and ladies room lacked luster, the pics online does it justice. The waiter was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable about the menu items. I ordered the crab cake appetizer, it was soft and mushy, not what I'm used to. Also ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer, much to my dismay, they were unexpectedly sweet. The tomato garbanzo soup was decent and the Bougie Mac burger was good and the best part of the meal. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from the menu but we're not interested in testing that theory. I had high hopes but ultimately was not impressed.“

“100% of our dinner was fantastic! Service is awesome. Our food included the bruschetta and Stuffed Rolled Eggplant appetizers which were amazing! The Italian Giambotta was the best I ever had. We finished it off with coffee and their lemoncello, which was unbelievable! Get here! We'll definitely be back.“

“Hidden gem!! The BEST burger I have ever tried hands down!!! I ordered take out and can’t even describe how amazed I was at the quality of this establishment. The seasoning on every item is to perfection, the meat I can definitely say is fresh. So many options and great prices. Will definitely be back to try other items from the menu. The shrimp tacos are a must also!“

“Country House is always enjoyable. Friendly staff, good food, always consistent. French Onion soup is wonderful! Portions good size, lots to choose from.Dietary restrictions: They will do their best to meet your needs! Gluten free options as well.“

“Had a double date night with friends and we loved this place. The ambiance's is cozy and romantic and is dimly lit is some places. The food was amazing. We ordered the bread appetizer and I highly recommend this. It comes in a cast iron skillet and with a butter candle. As the candle melts this rosemary flavored aroma fills the air and you can dip the bread it is buttery goodness. The staff were professional and so friendly. I highly recommend making reservations. We were here on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. If you want you can always snag a seat at the bar. My husband said it was the best old fashion he's ever had and they used a smoker on it.“

“Everything about Topaz was delightful when we celebrated our friend's birthday there. The cocktails were great and the wine list always has old favorites as well as new things to try. The Hummus and Focaccia were excellent starters. Sliders, Steak Frites, and Whitefish were all delicious. Flourless chocolate cake and cappuccino topped off the celebration. We even tried a new dish that consisted of delicious link style sausage with pita and a red pepper sauce that will definitely become a go to appetizer for us. Absolutely could not be better. “Oh my gosh!! This is the most amazing place ever. We had fantastic service, fantastic food and such a wonderful time. The food just goes beyond words. I can’t even describe how delicious it is. If you want to have an incredible dining experience, you need to stop in. Our waiter was Don and he did an absolutely perfect job. The hostess greeted us immediately with a pleasant smile and a very polite and professional attitude. Our waiter Don was Very attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the specials and everything on the menu. I can’t say enough about our experience. What a reward. “Nice local spot with affordable prices ! Small cozy place . So best to get there a little early so you don’t have to wait for a seat . My service was fast and attentive. All the workers are really friendly . I got the Greek French Toast with whip cream . I recommend the Hash Browns . The other dish I shared was the Hobo Skillet . I really enjoyed the cut up potato’s in the dish . Going to come back for lunch next time to try the Sloppy Joe’s . This is a cash only place and they only stay open till 2pm .“

“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“I just got off the phone with Migele from the Evergreen Park store and had some issues with my order. I'm severely handicapped and asked for curbside pickup, and also a change to the order. “As always, Chef Paul’s restaurants are right on point. Katherine and I collectively have been to Vistro (Prime) a few times . . . and the food, craft cocktails, and atmosphere make for an excellent social and culinary experience. It was wonderful to see Patrick doing the Mixology while the other restaurant is in process of opening apparently this spring.This time around, Katherine and I stopped by for a craft cocktail, and we ended up enjoying the happy hour oysters that were very good.I have never offered a single suggested critique of Vie or Vistro.The only request I have is for the manager of Vistro Prime is to check the barstools at the bar.My barstool was wobbly, and it likely/ simply needs to be tightened up. I’m a handy person and have constructed and repaired barstools; so possibly, the hardware for some of your barstools needs to be tightened up and or repaired.They are beautiful barstools!Other than that, I completely recommend Vistro Prime to every and anyone that receives this review and all my friends and family as always!“

“Local bar that we walked to to get a few drinks on st Patrick's day. The specials were nice but we ended up getting some Guinness and car bombs. I got to try malort for the first time (not really a fan) prices were fine. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Wasn't too crowded. Had video poker inside which is something I'm not used to due to not being from the Midwest. I'd swing by and get some drinks here again“

We enjoyed our burgers & the wings were great.Only con is that the women’s bathroom smelled horrible. It appeared to be clean, but the smell was really bad. Perhaps some bleach or re-tiling would do the trick.Overall, great experience. I just wouldn’t use the bathroom there.“

“We stoped in on Valentine's Day for dinner. Suprise! No waiting... Had a decent size crowd there with a lot of constant chatter but we had no problem with it. I ordered the Wednesday special...the $5.00 build your own Burger with Chips or Fries (I opted to upcharge to tator tots) It was hot and jucy with crispy tator tots. My friend had the Smoked BBQ Brisket Bowl... We love coming here and look forward to our next visit!“

“Great spot for a date night or just anytime. Open and bright space. Large windows are all open to let the air in and a front open patio with fireplace. Went in on a Wednesday and, while not packed, was somewhat busy. The server was amazing and friendly. Offered recommendations on food and drinks. We went with the poke salad bowl, and I had the simple fish and chips. My portion was large, and the Poke bowl was plentiful also. Stayed for an extra cocktail also. They have a large pizza oven for flatbreads also. Large bar area also. Will be going back again!“

“This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I love this coffee shop. It's in the heart of downtown Homewood right by the Metra. The owner is very nice, and her shop is so cozy with lots of small business made products to choose from while you wait on your coffee to be made.“

“My first time here and it was a nice time. We didn't get to do a wine tasting but we ended up sitting and sharing a couple bottles which was more than enough. Food was good even if i thought the portions were kind of small. Bringing someone with a wine club membership helped a lot with free bottles and the overall price.“

The food has been consistently great for the price point which is upscale local bar. The food itself is closer to gastropub. Someone talented in the kitchen really cares. On any given evening they'll have a pot roast, a pork chop, a burger, salads, fish, soup, impressive in house dessert. I've just scarfed down some delightful sweet potato cake layered with cheese cake. The quality is excellent, the service if very friendly and patient and professional.
