“We loved all the tropical plant life at Poke Okie Cafe
It really set a relaxing mood.
I got the 3-scoop poke bowl, it was thoroughly delicious!
My hubby got the roasted duck rice bowl, good but very dry.
We both got a Hawaiian sunshine smoothie- Big Mistake!
No, seriously.
They were amazing, but very filling. We could have gotten one and shared it.

“I love a place where you can pay with a single $20. This is not that place. It's very filling, if acidic, keeps you full for a long time, but you pay the downtown Oak Park tax.
The Boba tea is good, but not great. Once The Wolf opens, go there for tea instead“

“The food was great!! The salmon, tuna, and shrimp were all really fresh tasting. The toppings were delicious and plentiful. We tried the teriyaki and the ohana sauces; both were very good. My only complaint is that when we were ordering, we had to pick everything at the register before our bowl was built but, I would prefer to add things as the bowl is being built - like in other poke and "build your own" restaurants. But, I'll definitely come back to try even more flavor combinations.“

“Best Sushi Restaurant on the planet. Not only was all the food superior than any other Sushi restaurant I've been to. My family and I had a feast.(I mean all the food was good). Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. The ambiance of this establishment is very warm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, and with people you want to share a special food feast with. It's pure laughter and joy. Thank you Quam for your kind recommendations on food selections. My family and I had the time of our lives, as if we were on vacation. Thank you! “Really lovely and calming atmosphere! I'm from out of town working an event and it was a very relaxing experience to eat here. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and my partner ordered the general tso chicken (and we both got some tempura shrimp). The server was so kind and polite and our food was AMAZING. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area!“
