“Last night our family went to BC Bbq for a late dinner, we got there at 8pm and thought they closed at 9 ( my husband is the one who looked it up of course and didn’t read that the bar is open till 9 not the food🙄) we sat down and found out they closed at 8 and we felt HORRIBLE we tried to get up and go somewhere else but our waitress insisted we stay. She was absolutely amazing and so was the food! Besides us coming in at 8pm and closing time I hope we weren’t too much of a pain! Thank you so much for being so generous!”

“Last Saturday we had a celebration of life for my son. Rail House was one of my son's favorite places to hang out. We had more people show up than we expected and our server Melissa was a total pro!! She was kind, thoughtful, and handled all our needs beautifully! Our guests had a great time. “Took a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a couple years to MacDuffs, I used to frequent McCritters, and told him, same owners, people, I kinda knew that on Sundays no food is served. So I called, she said just Pizza's. Good enough. I knew I wouldn't see my regular waitress etc. Lo and behold I walk in and there's Dee, a bartender that worked at Mccritters!! My friend LOVED the pizza! What food that was at McCritters, is at MacDuffs. I knew that, but not my friend. So good seeing Dee again, atmosphere was excellent, food, clean bar, went out on the patio, so nice!!”

The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced, the service is very fast even on a Friday or Saturday night and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Never once have we been disapointed by the food or the service. We love La Fiesta Pekin!”

“Many of us locals have been supporting this business for a long time now and I believe the appreciation by the owner/s shows that with the low prices and superior food selection and quality all the way around. I especially like the vast variety of food choices and the hand dip ice cream station instead of the usual soft-serve that most places have. They were really thinking out of the box. Today I took my friend, Darryl out to eat at this Chinese buffet. He had never eaten such food and I figured it was time for him to escape from his comfort zone. He was very impressed and sure didn't step away from the table hungry. By the way the cherry on the cake was that they serve Mountain Dew. That is a must for Darryl wherever he dines. I had hot tea. Get on out and see for yourselves and spread the word.”

“We have never eaten there before tonight! I am hooked already! We had the Steak and Cheese sandwich and potato salad and absolutely loved every single bite. They are so friendly and super helpful with menu items! 5 stars from the Steeles! We can't wait to try the pizza! Also! They support law enforcement and we are a family of many!!”

“Legendary root beer stand. It has been in Pekin for over 40 years. Nice variety of selections and food is always made to order. Root beer is delicious and so are the baked potatoes.”

“I was traveling through and stopped for a meal as it had a good rating. I'm glad I stopped and I would stop again. The front counter lady was wonderful! Sweet, efficient and quick. The food was really good. A lot of people came in for take out orders as I was sitting there and no one else sat to eat on a Monday evening around 5:30 pm.

Cons: I'm not sure if their back room is under construction but both walls in the dining room had stacks of boxes with drinks and whatnot. The tables were not clean so I used a wet wipe. The napkin dispenser was visibly dusty... Really dusty. I went to use the restroom after I had eaten and it was gross. Not sure if it was dirty or just old and nasty looking. I took one look and walked out”

My only complaint is there is always a line & I feel that should have 1 girl/boy taking the orders & other staff preparing the orders. Service is slow cuz a person takes ur order & leaves to prepare…just holding up the line & time.some rude staff but know Mgr does her very best”

“Haven't had an issue ordering from this location. Food is always hot and tasty. We had a bigger order a few weeks ago and everything was accurate to what was ordered.

The bread is really good. It's on the sweeter side. My wife likes the lasagna and I like the pizza bread with sausage. The sausage is the crumbly kind which is great. You also get a nice layer of it, so that's appreciated. My other family members like the spaghetti and bread. Garlic bread is great too. Definitely recommend the family feast as a great quick family meal.”

“One of my favorite watering holes in town. Great atmosphere, awesome mix of people of all ages and nationalities. Great mixed drinks. Also the owners do a whole lot for the community. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trouble/drama free evening. Google is asking about the food for some reason. This is a bar. No food. Just frozen pizza and some chips.

“I have never really had bad food here. Service has been good for the most part as well. Biggest complaint would be we received boneless wings that were smaller than McDonalds chicken nuggets. Pizza Hut has better wings.”

“Never had any issues going here. They are quick and accurate. One time we had three orders (one ticket) through drive through. They were all roast beef + fries. By the time we got to the window it was all ready. Insane speed with the right order. No loss on food quality for that specific order as well. Eating in the lobby also has a quick turnaround.

Would recommend if you are into Arby's food.”

“My goto watering hole.. only bar in town that caters to the midnight crews who are looking for a brew or 2 after work. "Indoor" beer garden let's ya smoke a cig in the dead of winter & still stay warm. Cold beer still has ice chunks hanging on em. Pool table in the back to help pass time... I love this place & the bartenders who work there are a blast.”
